You can see it on their faces. It doesn't take much to see the obvious. I mean the team is fighting among themselves again. Bobby V. is cheering Middlebrooks after making an error and someone "leaks" this to the media. Bobby V. is mad that someone went to the media when he has aired his dirty laundry in the media all year. Bobby V needs to go as does pretty much the rest of the team.

Hopefully they ditch cook and stick with Morales. Hes been our second best starter this season behind Buchholz.

Morales only had like 1 bad Inning over his "short starter career" in Boston...and that was against the Yanks.
Guy needs to start, his stuff is good enough and he can keep the velocity up over a full game (unlike Bard)
He's better than Cook by no contest and even better than anyone else but Buchholz...

I want him to stay in the rotation until the season is over, we have nothing to play for, anyway. But we need to see if we can count on him being a starter longterm.

Absolutely. 26 year old hard throwing lefty? Sign anyone up for that. He was once a top prospect, the Red Sox really couldve found a gem here.

I thought the offense was trying to make it hard to lose this one. Apparently the pitchers said 'Challenge accepted!'

Padillia sucks balls. I was hoping we would find another way to lose...we almost did.

Blame Aceves all you want but he did awesome yesterday in the 8th inning coming into bases loaded no outs situation and just gave only 1 run. Papelbon always sucked when he went 2 innings and by the end Aceves was at 35 pitches yesterday. He did great for a inning today 10 pitches.

Hopefully Bailey back we can get rid of Padillia and with Bailey we don't need Aceves to close and pitch more then 1 inning.

Bard and Bailey probably on the way.

Well Crucis is showing off now. Notice how he didn't mention any of the more recent RS players? I'm gettin old so I can't remember exactly who it was but I think it was Geo Scott that had a first baseman's mitt about the size of an umbrella. He was built like last year's version of Papi. Am I right Crucis? I remember watching games with (I think it was him) at first.

Are you thinking of Mo Vaughn, 1FNF? I also remember him looking a LOT like Ortiz. Or rather, when I first saw Ortiz back in 2003, I remember thinking how he looked a LOT like Mo Vaughn. Very similar batting stances, IIRC.

Actually, I don't think that it was the 2 inning thing with Aceves. I think that it seems like he's been getting over used and that wear and tear is building up. The guy needs to take a couple of games off.

Morales stays in the rotation if they weren't idiots.

How long will they let Pedroia bat 3rd with a .700 OPs? He isnt doing ****, and barely has the whole year. Crawford would be better off there.

Ross
Saltalamachia

Well, remember that part of the equation is when will Ortiz return from the DL to take his place as either the #3 or #4 hitter.

Cant wait. Pedroia should be in the 2 or 5 hole anyway, and CC has been the better player lately by far. Against righties i bet he bats 5th and lefties 2nd.

For what Ace gets paid and what he does for the RS I think he's a bargain. And lest we not forget he was forced into the closer role. This wasn't supposed to be his job.

Wond a few GG over at first...I think the 60s or 70s

Oh, if you're talking 60's and 70's, yes that'd be George Scott (aka The Boomer). Though, I seem to remember The Boomer being a righty hitter (but I could be wrong).

If Pedro Ciriaco keeps playing well, he could steal some PT from Aviles.

And if CC keeps improving, I don't think that'd it'd be wrong to slide him up to 6th.
