Pretty impressive that Kevin Love is considered as the current title holder of 3-point king. We all know he's gonna be a great player. Though Im not sure if he should be classified as a pure-shooter.

Aside from the all-time greats (Allen, Nash, Miller, Kerr, Stojakovic, Mullin, etc),

Name the top pure shooters in the league, current and upcoming.

1.) Stephen Curry 2009

2.) J.J. Reddick 2006

3.) Klay Thompson 2011

4.) John Jenkins 2012

5.) Damian Lillard 2012

They say Bradley Beal is the second coming of Ray Allen with his shooting, so I would have to put him up their.

I don't think that Damian shoots THAT well. Jenkins looks promising however.

Its hard to put any rookies on this list because MANY players have been " pure shooters" in college then get to the pros and that changes for many reasons. JJ Reddick was a much much better shooter in college than he has been in the pros allthough he is regaining his touch. I remember in college, he couldnt be left open at all. Another example is Jimmer Fredette, AWESOME shooter in college but hasnt been nearly as good in the pros thus far whether covered or wide open. Anyway, in a PERFECT world aka no defense or just wide open my list would be

1. Steve Novak ( I think clearly the best shooter in the NBA IMO)
2. S. Curry
3.Jimmer Fredette
4.Klay Thompson
5. Mike Dunleavy Jr

Really though the only thing he CAN do is shoot the lights out.

Non homerism. But Novak lol. I assume his shots going in everytime. Im rarely mistaken with him. He just needs some handle and be able to create his own shot. Not just with the head fake.

He was impressive last year, he got in one of those grooves that reminded me of guys like Peja, and Kerr, Nash and Glenn Rice where every time they shoot you think its going in.

The Kings need to let Jimmer play like Jimmer. They are killing his confidence, and you knew what you were drafting when you got him. I think its his only way to succeed really, is to let him play his way to an extent, and HOPE it can translate.

Steph Curry is the best in the game. I give him 3 years until he becomes a top 5 pg. He just needs to stay healthy.

This and (if he ever makes it to the league) Adam Morrison. This thread is about pure-shooters and he definitely is elite in that aspect.
