There was only one instant where tmac rejected the Bulls and that was in the 2000 free agency. Since then, he has been begging the Bulls to take him the past few years.

Unless of course you're insinuating that Tmac is the girl...

I was speaking about him posting in another thread about T-mac as a future HOF'er & now one of the best players in the world, but I mean if you consistently have injury problems the best decision would be to retire, unless you want to be crippled before your 40, we have already witnessed the best of T-mac no need for him to put his body in any more kind of dangerous predicaments through his mediocre performances he has been displaying as of late...its not worth it

Decent signing for vet minimum. Where no risk is involved and where TMac doesn't have to be top option, he may perform quite well. Not saying he's averaging double figures but anything he can do to help take pressure off Rose (when healthy) , Deng and Rip will be a positive.

He and Hinrich didnt play well together at all last year. Before Hinrich came back from injury, Tmac was having a solid season. I wish you guys still had Watson, they would have worked great together. Now I dont see where Tmac fits in the flex. Maybe you guys are changing up the offense now that Korver is gone and possibly Rip. I think Rip gets another chance to see if he can stay healthy. When he was healthy your offense was elite.

I could see Tmac and Nate/Marco playing together, seems like you dont have a proven backup PG to run the offense so this pairing would be the best way to utilize the talent. Tmac is still a fine decision maker.

Its more like the stud QB who was asked out by the ugly duckling with beautiful parents, who in time grew into her good looks. Then when the washed up/former stud came back trying to grant her wish, she refused. Only to relent when she lost her charm.

LBJ-3x MVP, finals mvp, scoring title, 8x all star, NBA champion in 8yrs
KD-3x all star, 3x scoring champion, 2 wcf apperances & 1 finals appearance in 5yrs
Kobe-5x nba champion, 2x finals mvp, mvp, 14x all star, 2x scoring champion, 5th all time leading scorer, 2nd most points scored in a game in 16 yrs

Name one player in the HOF w/ the same amount of accomplishments as T-mac with the those same Intangibles, but i had got you mixed w/ somebody else claiming that T-mac was a future HOF'er, but if he's one of the best players in the world than clearly he would be a future hall of famer right? I would think so
I'm sure of it because they have a roster spot in the best league. Its simple math, how many billions of men are there in the planet? Anyone in the NBA, or any pro league for that matter, will represent the top 1-2 % of the populace. Therefore they are the best players in the WORLD.

And your not being honest with yourself, either that or you have a poor understanding of mathematical laws. Whatever the case, the NBA doesn't employ players who aren't among the best in the world. People with size and talent (I always thought size was a part of talent but I get what your trying to say ) don't just settle for being the best players in the world, they are the best players in the NBA.
Learn the difference. Their Athletic superiority makes them rare.

As for Tmac, no, being in the HOF isnt that simple. I could name lots of inferior players in the Hall, they all got in for external reasons. Like how I expect Yao to make it despite lacking the overall longevity, accolades and dominance of Tmac.

listen to what your saying, THE WORLD, do you know how many talented basketball players there is in the world that can easily dismantle someone in the nba? just because you made it to the nba doesnt mean your one of the best players in the world, it just meant your are fortunate enough to play in one of the best leagues in the world... not everybody is able to go to a private schools like lebron or even maintain a scholarship due to different circumstances

Im being completely honest w/ myself and well aware of what I am saying, mathematical laws have nothing to do w/ this I just named you two players who in no way shape or form are the best players in the world...Size has a alot to do with it, you know how many players scouts have had interest in mainly because of there size, its like a antique car they feel they can fix up, its like fixing up a base model mustang to try to beat a corvette

T-mac never dominated and what is his longevity when he never played a full season in his whole 15 yr career, as far as yao goes prior to his foot injury he was argued the best center in the NBA and also could be argued as the biggest international player to ever play in the NBA, so IMO Yao will make it in the HOF

So if the Bulls gave him a 2 year deal, could he get 600k this season and 1.4 million next season?

Can they play the game of basketball? Its not a 1 on 1 game. The answer is none to very little. If they could, they would be in the NBA or some lower level pro league, likely on route to the NBA.

just because you made it to the nba doesnt mean your one of the best players in the world, it just meant your are fortunate enough to play in one of the best leagues in the world... not everybody is able to go to a private schools like lebron or even maintain a scholarship due to different circumstances
LOL, even if you had a point, that still represents a small minority of the populace at large. And I dont agree, you dont have to go to private school to be discovered, if your good enough to play the game you will find a league to showcase your skills before you make it to the NBA.

False, you named 2 of the best players in the world and its precisely because of their size. Whats clouding your judgement is that your focusing on 1 on 1 situations. Think of a basketball player within the confines of a team game. And mathemetically if your in the top1%, that makes you the best in the world.

T-mac never dominated
False

and what is his longevity when he never played a full season in his whole 15 yr career,
Who said anything about playing every game? Im talking about longevity, not durability(Tho playing heavy games multiple seasons isnt exactly putrid). And in a comparison vs Yao, he decimates him in both considering hes still adding to his already longer NBA career.

Im pretty sure we all expect Yao to make it. He still didnt have anywhere near the accolades, longevity, dominance, and statistical prowess that Tmac had.

Bit of a surprise move here IMO. With how Chicago is built I didn't think they'd have a need for Mcgrady.

@AlexKennedyNBA

Tracy McGrady won't be joining the Bulls. After signing Marquis Teague, Chicago activated hard cap and only has the rookie minimum to offer.

Poor JB. Hope hes OK.

Lakers get Nash, Dwight and Jamison and the Bulls can't even get Tmac?
