Which Player do you think will win the MVP Award? will Lebron go up for 4th and make more history? Will Kevin Durant Finally get it? Will Kobe be able to pull it out? Tony Parker or Tim Ducan to show aage is no factor? Or will Carmelo or CP3 pull it out to show they are a force to be recond with? Lets try to Decide here, now.

(/) means that it could be one or the other player on that team. Please dont get confused and say "Two People cant be MVP in the Same Year!"

After everything we saw last season, especially in the Finals? It's hard to imagine anyone but LeBron at this point. Clearly the best player in the world, and now he has the championship monkey off his back. Who knows, he might take it to another level.

Hard to say. I think Durant, Kobe, LeBron, Rondo, Paul, Love, Melo will be in the Top 10 mix.

I think either Durant or Kobe win it though.

Or he can pull a Dirk and relax after winning a ring.

What if Carmelo looked his name up and found this. i think he would have built the confidence to win the Award just because of this poll. Hey, You never know. but then again Lebron would still be considered the better player...

So would KD - who's finished 2nd two of the last three years. Melo's never been in the MVP discussion, likely never will be.

I'll take KD this year, he won't have to be better than Lebron to win it, just close. Voters like to switch it up and he's about due.

LeBron.

Why is Melo's name up there? Wade would win a MVP before him.

this is exactly why Lebron shouldnt be MVP again. when you have 2 other teamates on your squad who could win MVP than you probably arent the most deserving. But he was full deserving of it last season. If Melo plays to his high level like he did towards the end of the last Season than hell yeah he could be the MVP.

The only chance melo has at MVP is NY being the 2nd seed and melo avg 25/5/5 on >48% shooting. But KD will win it many times before melo ever does.

If stats are similar to last year, I think the media will give Durant MVP this year.

melo has a chane of averaging 26/7/4 with a steal per game. but i agree with KD winning it before Melo...

The award was, for a period of time, handed to the best player on the team with the best record.

Lebron, KD, Kobe, etc. will all put up nice numbers. The team with the most wins at the end of the regular season will almost certainly be handed the award. If it is a tight race though, stats will play the game and Lebron usually (always) wins that game.

Safe pick: Lebron

I could definitely see KD win it this year. The media loves the guy, not taking anything away from him as a player, he could win it with his play alone, but all the love from the media could up his chances to top Lebron for the award.

If the lakers finish with the best record in the NBA Or even the west then like let's say 60-65 games then I see Kobe as a strong candidate if he averages something around the lines of 27-6-5 on at least 46-47% shooting I see him getting it

Its never going to be Durant. Lebron is just to effective, not just scoring wise, but rebounding wise, playmaking wise and defense. Kevin durant can still average more PPG than lebron, and lebron would still win it. Lebron and its not even a thread. Starvingknick please stop making these threads?

Lebron on his own in cleveland made the cavs a contender. No one can question how great of an impact he has on a team.
