View Full Version : 5th Annual PSD Player Rankings #6 SF In The NBA? (Volume: V)

Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last four years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. The season is now over and the Heat have been crowned NBA champs which means its time to kick off the off-season player rankings.

A lot has changed since last season. Lebron was labelled by some as Choke Artist in the clutch and now this year had one of the greatest finals performances in recent memory. Let start the discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 4 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

I took Deng. I think he's just a more efficient player/scorer than Gay is, and he's an integral part of that stifling Bulls' defense that's always tops in the league.

Granger sucks. Just check his playoff stats, and you'll know why he has NO BUSINESS being considered higher than Rudy Gay.

All his higher scoring playoff games came against an Orlando Magic team that was by far the weakest playoff team of least season.

Granger got defended by Lebron, Rudy got defended by Caron Butler (who sucks balls anyway but had a broken hand on top of that).

Despite being better at stealing he still isn't a better defensively than Granger is and he is not a more efficient or even a better scorer than Danny Granger.

The only thing Gay does better than Danny Granger is rebound. That's really it.

The fact that Gay is going to go ahead of both Deng and Granger is a testament to the idiocy of PSD.

I would certainly now nominate Rudy Gay as the most overrated player on PSD.

lol at people saying that gay is overated. he is rated exactly where he should be at 6th.

gay is better in rebounding, stealing, blocking and is a more efficient scorer than deng and granger.

Except he's not.
TS%
Granger- 54.2%
Gay- 52.1%

Also Granger defended better this year.

I dont get it, How is he ahead of Deng and Granger, Must be because Gay is flasher. I like deng here because of his defense, but Granger has a case, Gay has no case to be here IMO

Some of these polls stay up forever, then some like this one open and close in no time.

Didn't get to vote, but I'd take Granger here, Deng next.
