View Full Version : Who has the best floater in the game?

The floater seems to be more common today than it has ever been in the past, and a few guys have really mastered it (Tony Parker comes to mind). But I don't always get a chance to see all the teams play during the regular season, so I'm not sure who else out there has mastered the floater, so I put the question to everybody: Who has the best floater in the NBA?

Parker, Chris Paul, Rose, Rondo.. can't really go wrong with any of them.

But for non guards, Antwan Jamison has a pretty nice floater.

This is d- rose all day. I have never seen anybody with a floater like his. He be so far back it's like a replacement for a midrange jumper. Lol

By best I assume you mean in terms of most efficient or perhaps most flashy?

Drose's floater is so dynamic. TP probably has the most dangerous, you dont know what hes gonna do at any given time. I dont even think he knows. Its pretty to look at and purely poetical.

I dont know the numbers but CP3 seems to use the tear drop the most and seems to be the most successful at making it. He makes it an efficient and beautiful shot.

It's either Parker or Rose consistently they do it I've seen Rose use it an entire game vs Miami last year. Guys like CP3, Chalmers and Westbrook do it as well but no where near as consistent with it as Rose or Parker.

Steph Curry's got a floater he hits from as deep as the free throw line. Deepest in the NBA. Overall Cp3, TP and Nash are debatable; TP does it the most and might be the best. Rose and then Rondo hit the highest degree of difficulty ones though.

Allen Iverson had the best floater of all time in my opinion. Parker is the best in the league right now.

Bron was making a **** load of them vs the Pacersyea he really has worked on his game. he added that nice floater, & added a much better post up game. working with Olajuwon does wonders. i think he should work with the dream again, just to improve his post game
