I'm shocked that so many people here think Memphis won't be a top 5 team in the West next season...

Conley is only gonna get better, Gasol is the 2nd best big man in the conference, Gay is a top 5 player at his position and their go to guy. Plus they have solid role players like Tony Allen, Dorrel Arthur, Tony Wroten, Jerryd Bayless etc.

Other than the Lakers and OKC, I think Memphis can compete with anyone in the West.

GREATNESS ONE

TOP 4:

EAST:
1.HEAT (they're the champ, and adding Ray Allen would make them deadly at clutch time)
2.KNICKS (With the mix of talent from Melo,Amare & other youngster and leadership of JKidd&Camby)
3.BULLS (if Rose is healthy, but they really need a good Starting SG)
4.NETS (Dwill, Johnson, Wallace, Humphries, and Lopez good starting 5)

WEST:
1.LAKERS (with Nash, Bryant, Gasol & Bynum)
2.THUNDER (the great development of Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka and possibly Jones)
3.CLIPPERS (Paul and Griffin adding some good depths)
4.SPURS (they're the no.1 team in NBA, last season)

No.

Mia will be just as hungry. They're not going to be satisfied with one ring. They will be gunning hard for a B2B Chip. Miami improved a lot this offseason, and Chicago without Rose for half a season, and a weak offseason should pave the way for the 1 seed. Anyways....

I do think there will be a "hangover" period for Miami, where they just dont play as well early on, but at the absolute worst, they'll be the two seed. They will more than likely be the one seed again, hopefully someone can knock them off the throne.

What is wrong with all you morons not picking the Pacers for 2nd in the east... The pacers are the deepest team and will easily be the 2nd seed. The Nets and Knicks have no depth. The Pacers are probably the deepest team in the league. It is easily going to be the Heat, the Pacers for top 2... After that probably Nets/Knicks for 3 and 4 and then the Bulls because they wont have Rose. So...

DoMeFavors, please stop being a homer because we all know the nets wont get the 2 seed. the highest will be 5 or 4th.

Its not being a homer, its what I believe can happend. Im sure back in 2010 nobody pictured the Bulls would be number 1 seed in the EAST after Miami added Bosh and LeBron. So saying the highest Nets can be is 5 is unfair. I dont see 5 teams better than the Nets in the East.

Why are the Pacers conisdered better than the sixers?

cbreezy34
07-28-2012, 05:04 PM
Sixers have the best player between the two teams in Iggy. I'll take Holiday and Turners upside over Paul George (so overrated on this board). We clearly have the better bench as well with Nick Young Thaddeus Young, Dorrel Wright, Mo Harkless, Anertte Moultrie, Nick Vucevicic.
