Now that the Summer League is done with (even though it doesn't mean a whole lot) who is your pick for rookie of the year?

I'll take the guy who rosters for Team USA rather than summer league.

Are there final stats up for the summer league guys?

Harrison Barnes is going to start on a team which needs his scoring. that should help.

I voted Lamb, I think his game fits perfectly with the NBA and even though his minutes wont be similar to a starters, he will be one of the more impressive rookies.

My sleeper is John Jenkins, not many are talking about him right now but I believe he can be an excellent "instant offense" type of guy for the Hawks. He's always impressed me at Vandy and has been great in Vegas thus far. Hes the best spot up shooter in this draft with that Ray Allen like release and should really make a living from long range in this league. Watch out for him.

Not even putting Waiters on the list is a mistake. I dont care how bad he looked in summer league, after he sheds his baby fat and plays along side Kyrie for a full NBA season, i guarantee you hes in the running. His scoring ability is still arguably the best out of any of the rookies even without a jumpshot at the moment.

The same guy on team USA whos warming the bench and getting burned by everybidy else? CP3 straight shooked him out the arena

Damian Lillard is the real deal he was killin in summer league it was like he wasnt even tryin hard to score and could do it easy i think he was more trying to get the whole team involved then score as much as possible Lillard will be ROY or Co-Roy with davis

Anthony davis will be 15-17/7-9/1-2Bpg
Damian lillard will be 16-20/5-7/1-1.5spg

I'll stick with the same three I said before the draft, close race between Beal, Davis and Lillard. I also thought Henson and Davis weren't far apart in college, so I could see JH making a push if Milwaukee gets any pub.

Damian lillard showed how easily his game translates into an NBA setting. Even if it was just summer league. He gets my vote

non-homer: MKG. loves this guys energy.

Lilliard. The guy is a straight beast. I can see him putting up 18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 steAls while shooting 43% from the field and 36% from 3. A. Davis would be my next choice. Probably would be my first choice if i wasnt so much of a fan of Lilliards game.

theres 3 on my mind.

1. Lilliard
2. MKG
3. Waiters

Lilliard will be the most favorite here and also he will be the starter for Portland but for me MKG and Waiters have the most potential except Drummond

Lillard can actually shoot and has a clearly defined position in the Nba.

The NBA is moving towards positionless basketball, a defined position can mean relatively nothing, have fun guarding wade/bron

It tends to mean that he (Lillard) can actually get consistent minutes in comparison to a tweener like Bayless. What good is talent if it's being underutilized?

Are u guys really rating Anthony Davis based on his performance with the likes of James, Paul, Melo, and Kobe?

At least he can be honored by being on the same team as those guys.

The other rookies arent even on the US Select team.

Anthony Davis will still take rookie of the year.

I wanted to say Jonas Val....... but i think Damian Lillard is going to take it, by all star break I think he'll be the clear cut ROY.
