The Phoenix Suns' search for a shooting guard has apparently come to an end, as they've reached contract terms with free agent Shannon Brown, who spent the 2011-12 season with the team.

When he was a Laker, I didn't mind when he left.. Was actually good with it since he didn't provide much but high flying dunks and like 8-9 points per game.. Looking back at it, considering what we had on the bench last season, we could have used Shannons 8ppg. Much better than Steve Blake.

He actually improved a lot towards the end of last season, looking like a solid player.

I hope he starts at SG. Could definitely use a lot of this

All considering, he was decent for us last year. I know Nash isn't hear anymore but once he began starting, he was a different player. Dragic has a similar style to Nash so I expect Brown to be productive for us.

Solid signing considering we were shutout 3 times with Gordon, Mayo, and Lee. Plus, Brown wanted I think 4 years, so 2 years is a win.

At first I didnt like brown cuz he seemed to me that he was just looking to score whenever he got the ball. But later in the year he started to play basketball. Good signing

In 19 games as a starter, Brown averaged 16 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest, while shooting .406 from three-point range.

Don't the Hornets already have enough SGs with Gordon and Rivers?

Hopefully he keeps that up. Brown reminds me of Ariza on how they both were practically unknown early on in their career and once they played for their Lakers their value rose. Ariza more-so but you get the point. They have turned their careers around.

this is true. once he got out of the dog house and got some minutes, he was like a 15ppg guy the last month or two of the season I believe.

Ariza used to be the only Laker that I liked when used to wear the yellow and purple.

Biggest mistake for the Lakers: Paying Artest instead of Ariza

People often forget it but the Lakers don't win the 2009 Finals without him. I would even go as far as to say he single handedly beat the Nuggets in the playoffs that season.

Lakers don't win the 2010 finals without Artest either. It seemed like the correct decision at the time until Artest forgot how to play offense. I think everyone can agree in 2009 when he signed Artest >> Ariza.
