Discuss.

Edit: At least 1 team per conference (if possible), and who do they replace?

The Nets couldn't make the the playoffs while having all of their current players (minus Johnson). So to say they are a lock to make the playoffs next season is premature and absurd.

they didn't have wallace the whole year, and they didn't have lopez the whole year either. so those 3 plus deron at least looks like a playoff team in the east

Please know what you are talking about before posting. The Nets are going to be a playoff team.

Nets for East. Timberwolves for West if Rubio is healthy.

The Bucks. Full season of Jennings + Monta. Ersanity resigned. We have Dalembert so Gooden isn't our full time Center.

They could definitely be an 8 seed.

East: Cleveland if they pull of the DH12 trade and get Bynum. Nets as well, they have made some good moves so far.

West: My Dubs if we stay healthy and T'Wolves if Rubio can get back to form.

The responses to this thread are pretty awesome haha. My friend had been hyping up the Wolves all year and I had been hyping up the potential of the Nets (BEFORE the offseason) and how Billy King will do wonders with our Cap space and Prokh's pockets. I bet him that the Nets will reach the 2nd round of the playoffs before the Wolves did. Later we changed the bet to the team who reaches farther in the playoffs - if both get knocked out then team that plays more games in the round.

This bet might be very close.

As a Wolves fan, unless our best case scenario's all work out (Love staying healthy, Pek taking another step, Rubio healthy, Roy 75% of what he was, Shved being a nice playmaker, etc), I think the Nets will go further.

Nets, warriors, wizards, wolves. Don't see Orlando or Dallas making it. Maybe not the griz either if they trade gay

the Nets... and Portland? I'm not sure... Dallas may not be making the playoffs this season, but I don't know who will replace them.

Monta is beast

Dallas did a pretty good job this offseason, adding Mayo and Collison on the backourt and Kaman and Brand on the backout

Collison, Mayo, Marion, Dirk and Kaman, with West, Brand, and Carter coming off the bench seems pretty solid to me. I would be they finish at 4-6th place in the West
