View Full Version : Nolan Smith head injury

I was watching the Rockets vs. Blazers Summer League game and Nolan Smith hit his head on the goal support in a relatively routine play and then collapsed on the sideline. He was on the floor for about 10 minutes before they brought out a stretcher and just ended the game with 43 seconds left. He was moving his extremities, so it does not appear to be any kind of paralysis, but I hope he's okay.

Neck, not head. Hope he's okay.

Neck, not head. Hope he's okay.

He was hit in the head by Zoran Dragic, not the neck. And then his head bumped the padding of the goal before he stumbled to the side. If it was a neck injury, I think this would be even more serious.

They're saying it's a concussion:

Kerry Eggers: Nolan Smith went down with an apparent concussion. Nothing more serious than that, Blazer medical staff believes. 1 minute ago
