NBA.com is reporting that Washington is going to be using the amnesty clause on Andray Blatche.

It seemed that he took a step back last season, though that may have been because of less playing time, but I think this kid still has some potential.

Thoughts on Blatche and where he might fit in?

I think the guy has tons of potential. I think he needs to go to a winning team with a veteran head coach with a track record ex. Rivers, Karl, Pops, etc. Going on a bad team with a 1st or 2nd year coach could be disasterous. He has to go to a team where the coach will push him hard and coach him up. I really think this guy can be a consistent 17 and 8 guy. On the other hand, maybe he put up those numbers because he was on a bad team. But be sure someone will pick him up as soon as he is amnestied

Barring a last-minute trade, #wizards are inclined to designate Andray Blatche as their amnesty player, according to league sources

Once this happens the Wizards are now a professional basketball team. No more jokers on the team.

Would be cool to see him play in SA with the veteran leaders of the Spurs.

Heat

He would actually be outstanding on the Heat. If he lives up to his potential, he is exactly what they need. They have the leadership to whip him into shape mentally, too. I mean, they took on Eddy Curry so anything is possible.

You don't want him. The stats are good but he is a total ballhog! That is why his stats are good

Haha. Realistically we both won this past season. You win a championship, we have the defining moment against the #1 team in the country that puts our basketball program back on the national map after Sampson massacre of the program.

Now that IU is back, have fun watching Zeller and the gang next season.

the kidd still have talent, he might just need to be in a veteran team with a veteran coach. spurs can retool the twin towers. boston can use him too.
i think he just needs to have confidence and will be good physically and mentally.

wow that kid is talented but a head case ballhog. Perfect landing spot for him and his mindset would be Boston. Doc Rivers and KG would do that kid some good.

Spurs. With their leadership he can thrive, Pop also won't hesitate cutting him if he acts up. Also may help that their not media whores and a small market

If Phoenix even touches him, I would shoot our FO.

I kinda want to see him in LA with World Peace and Mike Brown....the Lakers can use a backup big man too right since Jordan Hill is a FA?

He's such a douche and a cancer to his teammates (like Charlie v ;) ) dude doesn't work hard at all

Although McGee Blanche nick young and agent zero were entertaining!
