This just in: Nets have come to terms with C.J. Watson as backup point. Two years at vet minimum. Watson owns option on second year

Tyshawn is really a 2 guard. Makes more sense since Watson is more NBA ready for a 2nd unit and still young.

The Bulls' success had a lot to do with that great defense and an improvement in overall offensive efficiency from the team, but Watson is a good backup.

Deron Williams said Friday he's going to recruit players. After getting Watson, we'll see if he can get others to play for minimum, as well.

Last time i checked this team doesnt have dwight and even without dwight cj is the only thing almost respectable from coming off the bench.

Second note: Will this be the lowest FG% coming from the 1 position from any team? Deron .407 fg% cj watson .368.

Definitely. At least in terms of efficiency.

You sound bitter. The Nets were banged up all year. It's not just about adding Joe Johnson. It's them building a better bench, having a healthy(hopefully) Brook Lopez, a more experienced Marshon Brooks, and a full year of Gerald Wallace. Plus, I don't remember anyone saying they will be contenders. The general consensus it that they will be 4-5 seed.

You guys are right. I had Watson on my fantasy team for a little while and his numbers during that time period were a lot better. More like 15 and 5 and I didn't realize how inefficient he was. Still, it's a really good signing for the vets minimum and it's not like the Nets could have kept Farmar.
