View Full Version : 5th Annual PSD Player Rankings #4 SG In The NBA? (Volume: V)

Mile High Champ

Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last four years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. The season is now over and the Heat have been crowned NBA champs which means its time to kick off the off-season player rankings.

A lot has changed since last season. Lebron was labelled by some as Choke Artist in the clutch and now this year had one of the greatest finals performances in recent memory. Let start the discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 4 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

Here we go again. Who you got here? Harden to me seems like the logical choice but I personally would rather have a healthy Eric Gordon.

But Hawkeye15 he's a better physical specimen than Harden. Obviously that means he's better just like Serge Ibaka is the 2nd best big man in the NBA after Dwight, don't you know anything about basketball? :pity:

Nah, not really. Whether Kobe deserves it or not, Wade isn't the clear cut #1 for last season like he was the year prior.

WHY? Let me guess... he's top 3 in PER huh?

ever since last year, it should be a no debate for anyone.
heck, we even had laker fans admit it.

last year he played like ****, missed 17 games, yet he somehow managed to shoot 50% for the 2nd consecutive year.

look up kobe's stats. ill wait here.

defense: Wade is a better defender, shot blocker.
altho kobe played more games than wade, wade had 48 more blocks.

how much? 48 MORE BLOCKS.

and 13 more steals.
mind you, he played 9 LESS GAMES than kobe.

rebounds: kobe is taller than wade, yet wade is known as a better rebounder, for his position and his size.

shooting: kobe is the better shooter.

scoring effeciency: Wade (50% shooting) vs kobe (43% shooting)

just like last year, laker fan, whether u admit it or not, Wade is the better player.
end of discussion.

thats like idiots saying durant is the best player in the nba because he has a better shot than lebron.

no contest here.

Since LeBron came to Miami Wade's FG% went from 47% to 50%... He gets lots of easy shots because the best player on the planet is leading the fast break with him.

Kobe is a better free throw shooter, better 3 point shooter, better post player. He averaged more rebounds, more points (5,6 points more then Wade)

Wade is just too inconsistant. He played 49 games and like 20 times he scored under 20 points... yeah I know he had an injury but you can't say Kobe didn't

Kobe made more clutch plays then Wade.

I'm sure Kobe's fg% next season will be atleast 45%.

Kobe was better in the postseason. I'm sorry but Wade played like a 3rd option in the playoffs.
