No thank you, not a fan of him at all.

For the min? I'm probably ok with that, but he needs to start knocking down his 3's again. was off last year. Nash needs as many knock down 3-point shooters as he can get, and we currently have, like, one (goudelock)....Nash's game is breaking down the defense and penetrating, then kicking to open guys. If defenses don't have to respect our shooters it will hurt him.

He used to be on the Warriors under coach Nellie and I watched him a lot up here in the SF Bay area. I like his game and he plays real hard. The Warriors originally got him from the NBDL. That was the year that nearly their entire team was injured and on several occasions they almost didn't even have 5 guys to start the game. I knew he would get scooped up by another team. The Warriors never keep anyone good.

what are you people talking about? Are you delusional the lakers are not spending any money on a bench. As for as cheap player go i will take tolliver as a strech 4. We will be lucky if the FO just re-signs j.hill.

Stop "eyeing" people and actually improve the damn bench, we will get no where with the bench we have right now, and no don't get Tolliver.

Just as I thought unfortunately.. The main off season piece appears to be Nash and sit pat.. Do enough to elevate expectation but not enough to be a contender.. More of the same.. Basically we got older and are now looking to sign more scrubs to sit at the end of the bench and get paid to root for Kobe.. Nice..

Invite him to camp and we will start from there.

What about Randolph for MMLE or S&T for McBob (expiring)? He's young, athletic, can be had for cheap, and would have a J.Hill like breakout on the Lakers with Nash.

The wolves are trying to make moves, maybe sending McBob's expiring along with a second round pick as the third team in a trade will help us land him.

Alot of these guys put up good numbers playing in garbage time for bad teams, watched him play this year via league pass, Lakers can get much better then a bench warmer who gets pt on non playoff teams.

I'm looking up at his #'s, not really impressed. When you can't even beat out Troy Murphy... there's a problem.

Why isn't this in the offseason forum?????

Why isn't this in the offseason forum?????

Because it has a source mentioning the Lakers interest, not some opinion about how "sick", "excellent", and how much of "great moves and a consistent jumper" he has. If you have an opinion, they go into that thread or use the off-topic thread. If you can find a source in which it mentions the Lakers are going after Scola (which is HIGHLY unlikely since the Lakers won't have bids on him) you can create a thread.
