I watched the game at my buddies house, who does not have DVR, and we could not rewind it. He insisted the ref gave the coach a high five after Mike Miller hit a 3. I was unable to see it until I found this youtube link.

I am not saying this should be used as evidence for a conspiracy, but it definitely breaks some code of professionalism.

If it was fixed, not saying you said it was, I think they would do a little bit better at hiding it than this.

the ref was trying to tell Spo to back up, Spo kinda brushing him off as he went by.

How is this an issue?

JNoel

Ref just telling him to move and Erik saw it as a handshake, not much more

First let me start by saying that the games are not fixed. They are...swayed. The team that is down in the series gets the calls so there will be more games- unless the team with the more hype will make the next round.

Second the hi five was just a friendly congratulations since the heat were up 25 and the game was over. i'm sure all the coaches and Refs know each other.

Third, probably telling him to get off the court.

Anything that can be speculated, or argued about is an issue IMO. You say the ref was trying to get Spo out of the way, some others say it was an unprofessional high five...thus it is something that can be conversed about. Yet, I know how the main forum is here, and I now expect bickering and trolling about this.

blabla lebron needed to team up with two other olympic buddies AND have Stern rig the playoffs (as usual) to win his first ring we all already know this.

NBA needed LeBron to win. Not getting to or winning a NBA championship would have made the league a laughing stock.

So I believe this

Erik Punkass Spoelstra was not on the court at all.. the ref ran by spoelstra and gave him a high five. I watched every single game of the series and not once did i see the ref tell him to scoot back even when he was INCHES away from Westbrook when he went for the 3 that would have taken the lead i believe or to tie... The point is that the ref went out of his way to do it.

bulldog2683

I have seen this happen before. Nothing to see here.

I have seen "Behind the sidelines" shows on NBA/NFL, the refs in both sports praise the coaches. You'll hear refs say, "Good call coach!," "Nice play set up," etc.

I do not see anything wrong with that. Obviously, you see Spoelstra being pissed off even though his team was up, this to me was more like a "Lighten up" or "Good call" coach type of interaction.

No conspiracy. Heat won cause they were the better team.

Take a step back and think about what you just wrote. Furthermore, if your so convinced its rigged, why don't you just boycott all things NBA related?

The league has been fixed since the 80's, but I think it's just really about altering the point spread.
