Lakers assistant coach Quin Snyder has accepted a job as an assistant coach for CSKA Moscow, becoming the second person to leave Mike Brown’s staff this summer.

Snyder will be the lead assistant under Ettore Messina, who served as a consultant with the Lakers last season before returning to CSKA Moscow for a second stint as the club’s head coach.

Snyder, 45, drew interest from two NBA teams this off-season and was a finalist for the head coaching job in Charlotte. He was also being considered for the Orlando Magic vacancy

Snyder reportedly turning down Orlando in favor of Moscow illustrates how bad the #Magic are, particularly when it's -20 in Moscow in Jan.
