Logical thing is Sacramento, but who/what do the Magic get in return? Outside chance Bynum, Pau, maybe Metta ( but he makes the possibility even less likely) for Howard, Anderson, and JRich. Seems unlikely but you never know. If it has anything to do with the Nets it means there is a third team involved. I'd lean Kings, pretty heavily, but one never knows.

I still think redirecting JJ to the Magic makes the most sense for all involved, and if the Nets are still in the race, together with Magic wanting to dump a few guys, it almost has to include JJ.

Some people say he is a SF, but I don't think his ball handling is that great. If you put him at PF and Davis at C, I think you are going stunt Davis' growth. He is too skinny to guard most PF let alone C's. Doesn't make sense.

I consider myself a big basketball fan make it a case to watch every team at least 2-3 times a year even if they aren't playing the Bulls and I had to google this dude to find out who he was. This guy is already 27 years old, not like he is some 20 year old prospect they can develop. If I were the Magic I would of just let Anderson walk and clear more room to start over. They coulda just signed him to an offersheet and called orlandos bluff with trying to move him in a S&T deal. im happy it looks like where doing something like blowing up the team but bringing back jameer didnt make to much sense.

I think this is a good trade for Orlando. Honestly, I don't think Anderson is worth as much as he has been offered, and while it might be tempting to match the trade and keep the player, working it into a sign and trade for a young center who is owned next to nothing and can rebound the ball well is a pretty good deal. On the Hornets side, I don't think this was a good move. They've gotten ride of every center on their roster this offseason and now all they essentially have in the front court is Davis and Anderson. I don't think that is going to work well for them. Keep Oakafor and Kaman would have been great. That would have been one of the better center rotations in the league and would have allowed Davis to play at power forward and taken some pressure off of him. As it stands now, the Hornets will be depending to heavily on a rookie, though I expect Daivs will answer the call.

Hornets got a pretty good deal. Gustavo Ayon was a good role player for the Hornets but by trading him they got a legit starter in Ryan Anderson.

Something is better than nothing.

The Magic SHOULDN'T have matched that contract. Since Anderson wanted to go there and the Magic weren't going to match, this is about the best you can get out of it..

I like Ayon. I don't love him, but he's a rotation player in the NBA. We have a ton of PFs...but he can play center (kinda) and I still think the team is going to be looking to move a lot of the other bigs sometime.

I'm fine with this.

I LOVED Anderson, but I knew that he wasn't going to be returning. We can't pay him that right now.

How does he even fit there? Are they planning to use Davis at C?

He is nothing without Dwight Howard

Proof?

ayon? who the **** is that? are u serious?

Yes :p

jack/?
gordon/rivers
ariza/aminu
anderson/?
davis/okefor

looking good

Okafor plays on the Wiz.

Some people say he is a SF, but I don't think his ball handling is that great. If you put him at PF and Davis at C, I think you are going stunt Davis' growth. He is too skinny to guard most PF let alone C's. Doesn't make sense.

If you have him at SF then Lebron had better be your PF.

What?

His ppg without Howard stayed the same and his rpg went up.

16.1 ppg and 7.7 rpg on the season, 16.3 ppg and 9.0 rpg without Howard.

How dare you add logic in this thread.

We dont play the position game in New Orleans, ala Eric Gordon and Rivers playing together.... Anderson and Davis...

We need to know who's going to be the starting PF for the Magic know hope it's not Davis. Maybe try and get Josh Smith with Hedo and others to Hawks.

I really like what the Hornets are doing-
Acquiring Anderson will likely turn out to be a good signing and could be a very nice piece to the puzzle.

I know you don't want to compare the Nets to Dallas

We have a championship they don't and they been around way longer than Mavs

You honestly think D Will Johnson Wallace Teletovic Lopez can win a title?

We won a championship so I am not as upset as you think

If we didn't win a title I would be pissed. PS when is the last time a team won the championship with a PG the best player????

Exactly. Johnson or Thomas in the 80's?? So I'm not that worried.

Good try ignoramus pesent :)
