Ersan is IMO becoming extremely overrated. After the all star break and overall as a starter he was really good last season especially shooting the ball but does merit such a huge contract? Its a gamble hopefully one that pays off for Milwaukee in the end.

Overpaid, but not unexpected given it's a small market and not really a strong playoff contender at this point.

I think he fits in very well with all the defensive-minded 4/5 types the Bucks have (Dalembert, Larry Sanders, Henson, Udoh). Ersan is about to be a big time scorer in the NBA IMO.

If he's close to signing such a big deal with Milwaukee, how on earth can he sign with NJ?

Not exactly, I truly don't believe the Nets would have signed Ersan unless they had Howard. The weakness of rebounding with him and Lopez would have been pretty terrible. Humps the better fit the way the teams constructed, now if we get Howard I'd probably just let Teletovic start and bring in some front court depth.
