At this point it seems to be more conjecture than anything else, but Hill and Nash are close, and both are vets nearing retirement who haven't won a ring. It would certainly give the Lakers some much needed depth. If Hill does end up signing there, I think I'd like to see McDysse come out of retirement and suit up for the Lakers. I always wanted to see that guy earn a ring.

Anybody got anything on where Hill is going to end up? Or any word on what other players Nash and Kobe might be trying to recruit... Kidd would look nice in a Laker's jersey. Just throwing that out there.

I'm not a big fan of the whole Payton and Malone part 2. I like Nash but either Hill and Jamison coming onboard is a bad move. Two big names but at the wrong end of their career.

Hill would be a great bench player. Him and World Peace would be great defenders. Can switch on and off

Re-sign is for when a player signs with a team they are already playing for. Resign is for somebody who is stepping down from a position. They are complete opposites.

Hill would instantly start for the lakers. Much better player at this point than MWP or Barnes.

Lakers need depth anyway they can get it. PG and bench was their downfall. Hill is no slouch.

Well Hill could start or he could simply back up Kobe and Artest who found his legs last year to end the season. Kobe had no backup that could give him 10 minutes

No he's not better than Artest. Artest was out of shape. Once he got right, his D and most of the time, offense, was great. He absolutely was a terror again. I'd gladly have Hill back him up. No way does he start though.

Hill would be a great assert to the team. Even at his age the guy would be better than anything we have coming off our bench and he could spell Kobe and Metta.

How much longer is Barnes under contract? I really can't stand him on our team. He really has no basketball skills whatsoever.

They'll get him if they want him. If Nash isn't enough to pursuade him, then Kobe will talk to coach k and have coach get him to come

Let's get everyone who hasn't won a ring and close to retiring. Two year contracts go all out. win that ring and retire. If only it were that easy
