RT @RicBucher: As source indicated earlier, Kidd won't join Deron with Nets. Deciding between Mavs and Knicks

Would be a good consolation prize if the knicks lose lin. Or back up lin if they resign him.

Lol at that jazz about Deron and Kidd playing golf together.

Like Chuck says, this ain't no lifetime achievement award; Kidd sucks.

this is great news, knicks dont have to give our players away for Nash anymore!!!

To me, Kidd is still good enough that he could start ahead of Lin. But even if he doesn't, the Knicks would get a VERY smart player who could probably help Lin's turnover problem.

Best part is, if he signs with the Knicks, it means that Cuban starts crying. :D No Terry, no Kidd, no Deron. :D

not bad, if thats the case give me Kidd, let Nash go to Toronto with Landry Fields LOL, and let Houston bid while we match....in this case would NY have to pay him more than the vet min?

Dragic to the Mavs.

Nah, I see him going back to Phoenix to re-unite with Alvin Gentry and that Suns system, which will suit him well since he was under Nash learning from him his first few yrs in the league.

Dragic to the Mavs.

I like that, seems like a good fit. Maybe Nash to the Mavs?

Knicks need Kidd the most regardless of Nash. Need someone who can shift to the 2 guard and just defend/hit 3's.

If I remember correctly, Jason said "I lost, so that means we both will play in......" I guess they agreed to play in NY but never decided which team.

He'll help defensively. He played well in the playoffs but the MAvs were so old, it overlaps Kidd and Terry.

Still a chance Nash, Kidd, Lin share the guard positions. Which would be amazing for Lin.

Mavs' PG priorities from here, sources say, are Nash and Jeremy Lin and re-signing J-Kidd. Team has not yet decided if it'll pursue Dragic

nope. mavs will get one of them.

Are you always trying to build a team that gets knocked out of the first round of the playoffs?

Please go to the Warriors Kidd. You fit in perfectly. A big point guard who can mentor Stephen Curry and Charles Jenkins

Kidd could be the veteran leader New York needs to take the next step and be a top 4-5 team in the East.

Kidd's leadership and presence alone will help the Knicks a great deal. Just like Chauncey did when he was there. Can't play as many minutes but he can still control the pace of the game and no doubt will have the teams respect

I would've figured Kidd would go to a team that has a shot at a title within the next year or two, to be honest. Kinda surprised.
