i like Gators123 list a lot. from my team ill say Curry but being able to stay healthy while improving is a concern obviously. if he can stay on the court though i can see him turning into a star. but irving and harden come to mind first.

Monroe, Cousins, Wall.

I think those are the only 3 I would say have "star" potential entering this season. Wall might finally put it together.

Off the top of my head, obviously some others will come up with some I agree with.

Rubio is a nice answer, but his return from acl surgery will make this a meh year imo.

Im going to go with Monroe, I really think he is going to be something special.

My dark horse pick is Chandler Parsons...I know most think he can just be a good starter, but what I saw from him defensively last year and how athletic he is. He can be a borderline star imo.

I dont understand the fascination with Rivers. Someone enlighten me?

Also, I may be in the minority but I feel as if Eric Gordon is HIGHLY and VASTLY overrated. What has he proven? Why does he deserve a max contract????? I'm assuming it's banking on potential (pun intended).

Kyle does have what it takes to be a star. Can shoot (now), great passer, great defender, great floor general. The only reason he isn;t considered a future star is because of how many great guards there are in the league now.

Rose,Paul,Westbrook,Rondo,Williams,Irving ect.

1. That sounds like a personal problem.

2. So by that statement everyone is better than Kyle? Sure.

3. There is a difference between being good at something and great at something.

Kyle's defense isn't good. Its great.
Kyle's passing isn't good or average. Its great.

Whether you agree or not is up to you. We all have our own opinions.

Evan Turner ( maybe he will finaly get good playing time)
Demarcus Cousins ( he could be one of the next big players)
Paul George ( will have to step up for Pacers, but a good player)
Beasley ( think he finaly puts it together for whatever team gets him)
Demar Derozan ( really a good under radar player

God I wanted the Bulls to draft him I was praying he would fall to 17 but no such luck good call though I think he's gonna be a hell of a player. Other than that I agree with most of you on Rubio, Cousins(if he can keep his head straight), Monroe and Irving. Out of this draft class though if he can get his ego down a bit and develop his game more Austin Rivers can be the best of this draft.

Paul George comes to mind for sure. I honestly think and maybe hoping a little bit that Brandon Jennings is going to step it up next year for my Bucks. With Monte Ellis on the team all year(unless there is a trade coming) Jennings assist number should go up. The kid has all the talent in the world, hoping he finally lives up to that potiential.

Anthony Davis and Kryie Irving are pretty obvious ones. I still think John Wall can get better, and Thomas Robinson has the talent too.

On the Sixers? The only ones possibly would be Jrue Holiday or Evan Turner. When Turner finally started games, he played at an extremely high level (17.8 points, 10.5 rebounds per game for a small stretch), so I'd have to think he still has that ability.

I'm going to mix it up a bit because I keep seeing the same names:

Marcus Thornton (watched a few of his games last year; could be a borderline All-Star. Reminds me of young Sprewell)

Chase Budinger (if he can find some consistency he will be a 6th man of the year)

Derrick Favors (If he actually gets some playing time he can mature to a top PF; Utah is stunting his development)

Avery Bradley (Ready for the next step)

No homer picks for me, I think Lin can be good but not quite a star if he returns, and Shump is more than a year away from reaching whatever potential he has especially with the injury.

Agree with Wall, Cousins, Monroe, Irving, Rubio (although he has a recovery process as well). Another possibility is Eric Gordon.

He has really improved his game since last year. But i have a feeling he will become even better next year.. His defense is great obviously, he's got some good hops and jump shot. If he gets better at driving to the basket I think he can become a Dwyane Wade like player.

I'll just pick one guy from each position...

PG: Kyrie - Safe pick, but he'll be a star for sure someday. I still am holding out hope for Wall too.
SG: Eric Gordon - Absolutely positively has every bit of ability to be a top 3 player at his position. If you think Monta Ellis is a "star"...then Marcus Thornton. I think he can be a better Monta...
SF: Barnes/MKG - Trying not to use the word "star" liberally here...I don't see a current player that fits the mold (Batum/Leonard are the closest...but I don't think he'll be a "star") so I went with rookies.
PF: DeMarcus Cousins - Safe pick, but yeah. I think he'll continue to grow and soon reach that top tier. Also, watch out for Ilyasova...I think he can start putting up HUGE numbers. But I doubt he'll ever be a "star".
C: Greg Monroe - I think he'll emerge as the third best center soon. Sucks he's overlooked by so many because of where he plays. An honorable mention to Anthony Davis, who I think has the ability to live up to the huge hype.

Why is Shumpert being listed? Knicks fans, he will miss much of next year, and it will be a wasted year with him getting back to 100% at best by April. He could be an answer next year, but not for this season. I think Rubio even fits that mold, and he had surgery 2 months previous to Shumpert or Rose.

I think these guys could become all-stars at some point:

PG: Ty Lawson, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving
SG: Eric Gordon, James Harden
SF: Rudy Gay, Danilo Galinari
PF: DeMarcus Cousins, Paul Milsap, Josh Smith

PF- Derrick Favors, Kenneth Faried, Ryan Anderson
C- Greg Monroe, DeMarcus Cousins, Brook Lopez

All players age 24 and under (I think) yet to hit their prime. Reason why DeRozen is in the SF spot I think he'll moved to that position and same goes for Turner if Philly trades Iggy.
