The Heat are pursuing both of them. If they add these two, Miami is a dunk to win the championship. They will be too deep and talented for anybody

I think all these free agents are waiting to see what happens with Dwight. If Dwght gets traded to Brooklyn, I think good possibility that we see Lewis re-unit there with Dwight as they need a starting PF to go with Williams, JJ, GWall and Dwight.

And maybe Ray takes the mini-MLE to be the 6th man there. If not Ray, then maybe Jason Terry??

If I'm Miami, I'm afraid of Brooklyn if Dwight gets traded there.

Not exactly.

Miami reached out to Lewis, Ray will meet with them tomorrow and meet with the Clippers on Friday (which seems to be a little higher on the list)

If Ray was Miami bounded so much, it would have happened already.

Rashard lewis hasn't been relevant in years. Allen however would be a good signing but predicated on how he comes back from his injury.

He's a hard worker in the offseason, but father time catches up with everybody. Allen may never be the same guy he was even a year ago.

Allen, Lewis, shane, Mario......that's alot off shooters and they can at Any position from 1-4. Add in a healthy wade and bosh....and we are talking about a lot of fire power! I don't know how you stop that.

Rashard Lewis went downhill since he got traded to the wizards. He didn't want to be there. Going to a contender will revive him. Just because he got a contract that overpaid him doesn't mean he is a scrub. He is a good player. You can argue that he was the second best player behind Howard during their championship run. He hit many clutch shots.

Its about his role and responsibilities.
If you want him as a first or second option, and depend on him for some kind of leadership and pay him as such, your a fool.
If he is going to sit behind the three point line and attempt to play defense (ala mike miller) he's perfect.

Guess you didnt watch the playoffs. Bosh was our center and outplayed tyson chandler and looked like a top 10 center

lebron is our PG, have fun matching that. our defense is beastly no matter who you throw in there and just surround the big 3 with shooters and boom!

not to mention they won the ring with wade injured and bosh less than 100%.

Miami cant sign both can they, unless one take the minimum contract, they cant Sign 2 MLEs since they are over cap right.

Again Ray Allen is intrested in looking at more than a back-up role on a team. He showed his displeasure last year when he lost his starting role. I also have a hard time believing he's going to pass up a nice two maybe three year contract from another team for much more money than the couple million that Miami can give him for a back up role. As far as Lewis goes take him.... not a whole lot of teams want him anyways. He's not a lot better than what you got already.

Lewis really is trash now. All he was good for in Orlando his last half year there was standing in the corner waiting for the defense to forget about him and then be an average three point shooter. He was getting to the line at such a tiny rate. He wasn't rebounding. He wasn't doing anything.

And in Washington, well, he wasn't even good enough to get minutes for them.

In the right system as strictly a three point specialist, he could contribute. I just wouldn't bank on it

Yeah but there is a HUGE difference in backing up Avery Bradley and backing up Dwyane Wade.

There's also a HUGE difference that Boston just signed Jason Terry. How's Ray Allen going to share minutes with bradley and terry?

Just cause you come off the bench doesnt mean you wont get lots of minutes. You do realize Wade played huge minutes in the playoffs due to MM being at like 10% (if even that) and the Bosh injury...

If he comes to Miami he would be on the floor with James while Bosh and Wade rest.. Who do you think LBJ will be looking for on the floor with Haslem, Cole, and you take your pick for the 5th player on the floor. He would be playing a huge role. The role MM was brought here for, but was only able to do it for 1 game (but it was the most important game so all is forgotten and forgiven lol).

He's a jealous troll. This is the same guy that said the giants suck when they lost to the redskins, then they go onto win a super bowl. This is also the same guy who posts pictures of his fake girlfriend with the quote she's mine under it, cus he's insecure of his sexual preference.

Well you forget, or dont understand, when you play with Lebron who commands a triple team in the lane, you get open looks from three, adn he finds you like noone else can. Look at Mike Miller, Battier, Chalmers from the outside. Rashard and Ray will get all those same wide open looks, and thats all they HAVE to do, and thats what we want them for. These other teams that they go to wont give them the same advantages that they will have playing with anyone else.

Ha Jesus.... How much money you think the Nets have buddy?Dwight isn't going to the freaking Nets. He wants a max contract when he signs a new contract (extension now or next year) so THEY CAN'T AFFORD HIM. let alone your crappy pipe dream of Salary-Cap Free land. Lewis will want money, Ray wants more than 3 mill, and Terry signed with the Celtics. Williams signed 5 Year 100 mill with the nets. 20 mill a year for williams, 21+ mill a year for Johnson. 10 mill a year for Wallace. Nets have 51+ mill invested next year in 3 players! Add in trying to resign Lopez, Humphries, etc. There is no money for even Dwight let alone your 3 other multi million dollar signings. Please understand that. DWIGHT IS NOT GOING TO BROOKLYN
