View Full Version : 5th Annual PSD Player Rankings #7 PG In The NBA? (Volume: V)

Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last four years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. The season is now over and the Heat have been crowned NBA champs which means its time to kick off the off-season player rankings.

A lot has changed since last season. Lebron was labelled by some as Choke Artist in the clutch and now this year had one of the greatest finals performances in recent memory. Let start the discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 4 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

And the thinking there is what?

I took Nash here and Lowry should follow at number 8. After that I am not so sure.

And the thinking there is what?

That I'm irrational when it comes to Kyrie sometimes, its not as if Nash isn't gonna blow him out the water anyways.

MHC, might as well get the next one up tomorrow morning. This is a no brainer here.

After Nash, I've got Kyrie.

what is it with some people's fascination with Lowry. He's ok, but he isn't that big of a lock for the top 10 to me.

i went with the kid. don't reach young blood.

i have no problem with nash winning this poll. although it seems obvious that Irving will have a more dominant 2013 campaign with expanded minutes and a years worth of experience under his belt. is this the year Nash goes beneath 30.0 minutes per game? that's my prediction, but I think i still like Irving over Nash, right now.

I think Irving, Lawson, Conley, Lowry, Curry, and Jennings all have claim for closing out the top ten.

Holiday, Rubio, Lin, and John Wall looking from the outside in. We need to see more more Rubio and Lin to really say one way or another. Wall is a phenomenal talent, but he's yet to put it together at the NBA level. I will say that he's amazing in person; he dominated the drew league/goodman league in long beach last year with no bigs to check his penetration. he needs to slow the game down mentally; he needs to focus on dissecting defenses with his IQ, and not his athleticism.

nash here. Can Dragic be added to the list since I think he is better than Lowry?

Kidd? Hell no.

Miller, I can agree with.

Kidd still should be considered, if Irving, Jennings, Rubio, Holiday, Curry, Lowry, Lawson, Wall, Conley and Lin are also being considered.

There is not one that you can't make an acceptable argument of Kidd being better than.

wall team sucked hard but he still put in 16 and 8... his 3pt shot is still horrible but PG value he was still productive
