I Honestly think Gordon has some potential to be great. Of all the crap players that have been receiving crazy deals, I think this is still much but atleast tolerable

Yea Gordon has potential but has yet to show it. You don't give a guy a MAX contract off of potential though; he actually has to produce to receive these kind of numbers. These owners man smh

Better than Jrue Holiday getting the max.

The Hornets would probably still match it.

1. Would it lure Steve Nash back?
2. Need more then just him so add some other role players at least or maybe Lin?
3. Hornets would probably match -___-

Bingo, he hasn't proved enough on the court that he deserves a max. A good 2-3 option on a playoff team at best.

Owners cry about how they lose money, lock players out. then dish out max contracts to fringe all stars. Hes def good no doubt but cmon. Bad move if they do

People get so freaked out by the term "max contract." They aren't gonna give him Joe Johnson money you guys. Max for him is gonna start at like 12-13 million next season. If he can stay healthy, I think he'd be worth that.

Joe Johnson>>>Eric Gordon when he received that huge contract back in the day so what's your point?

My point is don't ***** about Gordon getting a max when it's half of what JJ is making right now and he's the better player.

Sun's have no star anymore since Nash is out and that means no entertainment for the fan's. Do you know how bad the TV ratings will be when Nash is out? Not good. So the Suns are clearly looking for a player going forward and E.Gordon makes sense even with a max contract.

He has massive potential and even though he is un-proven in the league he still has ALOT of time to prove himself and if he goes to the Suns he will have alot of room to grow. The only concern for me is injuries but with the Suns medical team he will be fine. That is if NOH decides not to match.

Lol NOH will match if anything and turn around and trade him to PHX if he wants to go there bad enough, or the best offer if he wants outta N.O.
