CLEVELAND, Ohio -- As expected, veteran Cavaliers shooting guard Anthony Parker, 37, has decided to retire after a nine-year career in the NBA, the last three with Cleveland.

At the end of the season, Parker told reporters he was undecided about his future.

Had a pretty good career after he came back from Europe.

Still think he could contribute for a contender off the bench, espescially a team like Miami or the Lakers.

The Knicks should offer him the veteran's minimum. It's not like he exerts any energy by standing in one spot and shooting a three pointer.

I dont know why he ended his last year with the Cavs he could have come off the bench somewhere solid defender and good shooter.

You're ridiculous man.

How about the Knicks going after every free agent for the vet's min? :laugh2: :pity:

Loved him with the Raps. Seems like the kind of guy that would get into coaching.

He was actually a realistic option considering he re-signed with CLE for the vet min.

He's a great guy but there is a reason nobody wanted him in the NBA before he came to the Raptors. He really should have retired four years ago.

Not everything on your mind needs a post.

And to answer your question, I advice you read back the 2 pages of this thread.

Wanna see his birth certificate......... He's like the opposite of a shady Dominican prospect who is 6-5 at 16 haha. Guy still looks like he's mid-late 20's at 37
