I do realize this would benefit the Knicks more but the Spurs window for a championship is closing and need to get another star in his prime. All the Knicks need to become a legit contender is a veteran PG and Amar'e and Carmelo don't quite fit well. Tony Parker has long been linked to NY Knicks and has stated he would enjoy playing for them in the past. Plus, Amar'e would be a succesor to Tim Duncan once he retires. Just like what happened with David Robinson & Tim Duncan. If they put the right pieces around them, they could be good too. & for a starting PG for SA they could go sign George Hill back from Indiana. Greg Pop has always said he was one of his favorite players! Tony Parker would be the veteran PG the Knicks have been lookng for to mentor Jeremy Lin

Amare and Parker r the same age, amare and duncan play the same position, amare is a bit of a headcase to say the least and parker is a great pro, and parker is a superior player

No way, Parker is worth a lot more then amare, the only person that you could do a player for player swap with amare is joe johnson
