Roy and Oden should seriously consider the PHX Suns. The training staff there make miracles happen.

Nash
Roy
Hill
Gortat
Oden

If all of them were healthy it would get them WCF at least

They have the training staff to do it

if pritchard can bring him to indy, we will have some serious talent at 2 of our three wing positions. i wonder what his asking price is.

Lets stay on topic, yeah? I'm sure there are plenty of religion forums that would love to hear you preach but keep it off of here....

it doesnt really matter where he goes, he wont be needing much playing time with those knees.

Timberwolves have already made it know they are offering him 2 year deal. WE WANT HIM BAD:

I imagine he'll be coming off the bench with limited minutes.

people here are delusional of Roy starting. That guy can't play 20+ minutes on those knees anymore.

He's a bench player and so is Oden - not b/c they suck but b/c they can't play too much.

Sorry to say this but Roy is damaged goods now but it wouldn't hurt to sign him to a veterans minimum deal for 2 years (1 year team option). See what he can do. If he gives the team 15 minutes a game and can give you 7 to 10 points a game, you've got your money back.

But, let's not get carried away now. Roy a starter with 2 cronic knees? Maybe he can play starter's minutes if they sit him for 2 games after they play him?

why in the world would he want to go to Minny?

THIS.... I was read many post about how he is the missing piece to teams. This guy has no knees left.

I used to get pissed about that, until I realized it would have just made the KG/Roy era longer, and I don't think they had championship ability with what would have surrounded them. Basically, Minnesota would be worse off right now.

why in the world would he want to go to Minny?

They have minutes at SG, their assistant coach was with Portland forever and has a relationship with Roy, and in case you didn't notice, Minnesota has a young PG every player has a hard on for. Who wouldn't want to play with Rubio and Love?

But yes, if he is going to latch onto a contender, Minnesota is the odd man out in the conversation.

that's just it. Will Roy take a role? A reduced one? I know he will say all the right things, but he sure did pout it up when his role was reduced for his own good in Portland.

He needs to spend a season in PHX rehabbing first.

The Knicks should take a shot on him. If he lasts half the season, screw it, we get Shumpert back in January. I'd take the risk.

Its a metaphor based on a book based in christian thought and philosophies (AKA ideology) that are still in use today.

its molded into three parts best described by the divine comedy; inferno, purgatorio and paradiso. You can live it in self loathing and pity, obscurity and ambiguity, or with beauty and elegance.

^^ This is a reference to the representation of the people in their respective levels of the hierarchy of the divine comedy... not christianity. so piss off, kind sir, and take your bible thumping bull excrement elsewhere.

Anyway...

I would be really excited to see Roy in a bench role with the Pacers. His ability to score and create offense would be exactly what we need off the bench. Im also assuming that Barbosa does not come back. even if he did with his (Barbosa) drop off in the playoffs, i think Roy would be an overall improvement.

I could also see him playing a very similar role with the Bulls or Mavs. His health is going to be a big factor, though, because i think both of those teams would want him to play a bigger role with the bulls shopping Deng and the mavs needing a couple more competent wings.
