Would you take Lebron over any two players in the NBA Right Now?

I know it may seem far fetched for some but I wanted to get an idea of how many people would.

What does this question mean? Would I take LeBron over two other players? What two other players?

tredigs

Of course not. I can think of roughly 30 combos of players you'd take over Lebron. There's a reason Lebron did not win until he teamed up with other stars.

As good as LeBron is Durant/Dwight or something like CP3/Dwight would be too much to pass up

I know what this thread is trying to say. But I would pose the question, "Would you take Lebron over any two players outside of lets say Top 8 in the NBA". So basically this leaves out: Wade, Kobe, Howard, Durant, Paul, Melo, Westbrook, Rose.

That's a more valid question. Can't think of any point in the history of the NBA where you would take a single player over any two other players of your choice.

No.

Just No.

Unless you put some limitations like say, one of the dudes has to have been less than 2 times allstar or something.

If not then clreary NO PLAYER EVER would be better than other two players.

If you wouldnt take Bird and Magic over Jordan or Hakeem and Karl Malone over Jordan you are crazy.
Same for lebron.
Gimme Paul and Howard or Durant and kobe over him alone.

I didnt think many would either. But I do remember a thread that was nearly equal asking if you would take Lebron over the entire Portland roster when they had Roy and Oden and it was an even pick as well as Lebron over Melo/Amare was nearly an even pick.

Well I'd take him over Melo/Amare, I think almost everyone would. Roy/Oden would've been an interesting question at a point.

But not Howard/KD, Cp3/Howard, Cp3/Durant, Westbrook/Durant, Westbrook/Howard, Kobe/Howard (if it's one year), Wade/Howard (same), Love/KD, Love/Howard, etc. Even ones like Tyson Chandler and KD or Tony Parker and KD would be close. Basically I'd take most top 15 players and KD or Howard. And 9 or 10 other combos.

that is not any two players though. any two players could be durant howard or some other combo of all nbaers. I mean at this point I think most people would take lebron over melo and amare, but I don't think anyone would take lebron over durant and howard

For the next 5 years - you have to decide tonight:

Derrick Rose + Kevin Love. Or Lebron James?

Now that's a tough question.

I don't know about that one. If you swap Blake for love how much better are clippers. Are they better than those 1 man LBJ teams in Cleveland that 1 60 games? I don't see them winning 60. I could be wrong thought.

Yeah, fair enough.

I'd actually go Lebron here. We know we won't get a fully healthy Rose until at least 2013/14, and it's a scary injury to have on the plate already. We also know that we have one of the top 10 talents ever in his max prime; there's a good chance the next few years will be more of some of the best basketball ever played out of this guy. Gotta go with that over two younger guys that have relatively little playoff experience, especially since one has a career altering injury (at the very least for the next year or two while he's out and then getting his game back to full strength).

There are many duo's that would always be picked instead of choosing just one player. It doesn't matter what player, Jordan, Magic, noone is worth two players of your choice. Paul/Dwight, Rondo/Dirk, Deron/Kobe, Durant/Bynum, etc. etc.

What kind of thread is this? I will take LeBron over most combinations of 2, 3, 4, 5,... players out of 430 NBA players. And I would take handful of combos over LeBron as well. I don't understand if this is a trick thread or not...

I think we need more context and a pool of players that cannot be selected or something. Say: top 10 players are excluded (they are...) and are we putting them on an existing team or an expansion team or what? We already know that Lebron brought together a Big 3.

Would you take LeBron over any two players from the same team?

As in, would you trade two current teammates for LeBron?

Yes, I would take Lebron over any two players in the league...in my hypothetical, Durant and Dwight are the two players in question. I take Lebron, because I assume there is some mid-tier star that I can pair with Lebron...for example, Lebron and Harden, or Lebron and Stoudemire. If there is any way that I can get the best player in the league on my team, I go for it, and let the other chips fall where they may.

I'm not saying the clips would win 60+ especially since they play in the west unlike the the cars played in the sorry east back then but give me K. Love over Griffin anyway of the week. K. Love rebounds like a monster and has an amazing shot where Griffin just has amazing athleticism.

It would be a much more interesting question if you take out the top 10 or so players, like a few of you have stated. Eliminate the likes of Durant, Dwight, Wade, CP3, Rose, Dirk, Love, Kobe, Deron and you have a much more difficult question to answer.

Would you take a pairing of Bynum and LMA over LeBron? Or maybe a Westbrook and LMA pairing? I'm not sure, I would have to think long and hard about that.
