I've never seen a humble and well disciplined athlete like this before.....his character is second to none. If I wasn't a Heat fan i'll be rooting for him.

What are your thoughts about Durrant?

I wanted Lebron to get his but man it sucked seeing durant not getting it because he gives it his all everytime and deserves a championship. He will get one soon.

30,6 pts on %55 shooting in his first finals appearence. Against a great defense. The kid is a lethal scorer. I mean there is no stopping him.

Great player, seems like a great person as well.. he needs to work on his defense and he needs to learn to take control of the team when they need it.

You haven't seen any athlete as humble or self disciplined? You never watched Tim Duncan?
But ya I agree it's hard to root against KD

KD and rose say the right things and they seem to be humble... But I can't help to think that this is what you call the setup.

"What if" the HEAT keep winning rings after this one, but at the expense of rose and KD.

So this means that Lbj/Wade legacy are tide to both these humble guys...

This is going to be a crazy 5 to 7yrs

You don't even know how to spell his name :laugh2:

Anyway, he's a great player and will win multiple championships before the end of his career. LeBron was simply too much for the Thunder this year. Props to him.

His time will come. He is going thru the same struggles LeBron had to go thru (without the choking). You gotta learn how to lose before you can win. Durant is going through that process now. He will likely be there again next year.

Love KD, but my only knock on him is that he needs to start demanding the ball & stop asking for it. TOOOO many times in the finals he score two straight basket & didn't get the ball for minutes after than. Theres's no way that 90 to 95% of the plays don't involve him in some way. Either he take the shot or him creating a shot for someone else. They really miss E. Manor. He needs more killer in him & westbrook needs to get that he isn't the best option on that team.

Having good family does that to you... It was a great moment seeing that emotion with his family and him... I think his dad was crying too... Nice too see good values still existing... He'll win one i'm sure before he's done.

A truly great guy and player with his humility as well. And even though Bulls fans may overrate him a bit, Rose is similar to Durant in that he doesn't pass the buck to someone else when the Bulls lose.

Durant and Lebron at the end of the game was a great moment as a FAN of the NBA, all homerism and hate aside.

Loved what Lebron did by going straight to Durant as time expired, instead of celebrating like he rightfully could have done.

Great end to a final, even if it wasn't the exact result I wanted, was still nice to see.
