He got his players in a huddle told them stuff about how they had a great year and to do work this offseason and then after that he said something like we are going to stay on this court and shake their hands. they won fair and square. they won this series and they won it fair and square. it wasn't exactly that, but he really showed class and said something like that.

Didn't know it was a thread on this yet, but yes it was outstanding. He basically said to congratulate the Heat and we lost to the better team and we aren't making any excuses about it.

He probably figured that Perkins and Fisher would come through since they are former champs.

That was awesome. They'll get their's eventually.. I wanted Miami to win, but I felt damn bad for Durant after the game.

He got his team to the finals, and was nearly coach of the year...pretty damn good to me.

Kjthunder

forgive some thunder fans, they seem to ignore the fact that he is a former coach of the year and that the team has improved every year. Brooks better still be our coach next year, and if he is we will be back in the championship game! They lost because they werent ready, like someone above said, sometimes you have to lose a big one before you can win it. and the thunder will win it, soon!

This is what he said

"Were gonna treat them like they're the champions. After the game were gonna walk and shake their hands and acknowledge all of them. They beat us fair and square. However how hard that hurts, they still beat us fair and square. Give them credit, get off the court, well meet back at the locker room."

OKC is the complete opposite of MIA. Humble team, all class.

Meanwhile Lebron & Wade talking about "they said NY could beat us...LOL!"... and laughing their ***** off on camera.

Lebron is an amazing player who had an amazing run, but that team is just impossible to root for.

OKC needed this, people forget Durant, Harden & WB are all only 23 years old. They needed to feel this pain. Lebron felt it a few times before winning. Should be a great rivalry to watch for the next 5 years or so.

PS: Watching Durant cry and hug his mom afterwards... I thought that was a great moment... he's still a young kid.

You wonder fans hate Miami HEAT TEAM AND IT'S FANS BECAUSE STUPID THREADS LIKE THIS COMPARING LEBRON TO MICHAEL JORDAN OR SAYING LEBRON WILL BE THE BEST PLAYER ALL TIME IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS GIMMIE ME A BREAK SERIOUSLY. IT IS MOSTLY MIAMI HEAT FANS WHO ARE 16 Years old or younger. HAHA WHAT A JOKE HAVE YOU JOBBERS WATCHED MICHAEL JORDAN PLAY AGAINST THE BAD BOYS IN HIS PRIME. YOU KNOW HOW HE GOT HIT BADLY BY BAD BOYS PISTONS TRUST ME DEREK FISHER FOUL WAS NOT A FRAGANT AND I AM TELLING LEBRON WOULD NOT SURVIVE IN THE 90 ERA. CHARLIE OAKLEY, DENNIS RODMAN, BILL LIAMBEER, ANTHONY MASON AND ETC WOULD OF ATE LEBRON ALIVE PLUS HE HAS NO ****ING HEART.

LEBRON CANNOT HOLD MICHAEL JORDAN JOCKSTRAP

1st year coaching- Took over mid-year. Didn't implement his offense/defense until next year
2nd year coaching- Coach of the Year (had 26 more wins than the previous year)
3rd year coaching- WCF
4th year coaching- Finals

Anyone who thinks he is a bad coach needs to get their head checked. He is young and making huge strides. He is a rare coaching talent and will get better with time. To lose him to rent Phil Jackson would be stupid. Plus the Triangle would not be the best fit for OKC IMO.

Lousy loud mouth Knick fans did claim they could beat Miami. From the players side, Amare was the one with his "we're going hunting on South Beach" crap. They deserve to laugh in the face of those clowns and break their hearts as they watch Miami hoist the championship trophy.

Come on your franchise is essentially on the same plain they just had a more successful formula. #frontrunners

Good speech but he still suck a*s. Sorry but the Thunder didn't make it to the Finals because he was a good coach. They did because they were a good team. It was because of him.

I don't know about ****, but he definitely does deserve some criticism for not adjusting to the matchups. Serge on Battier and Perkins on Bosh simply let the Heat control the series. Collison was more more effective in this series and should have been in much more at the "4" and Serge at the "5." Also, Durant or Thabo should have been getting some time at the "4" considering the general matchups.

I think they should have went to Perkins MORE. They did very little in the series to exploit that they had the advantage in the paint.
