View Full Version : Chicago would have crushed Miami

Looking at this series, the reason Miami has been able to dominate is because of their ability to go small against this Thunder team who lacks any kind of inside scoring. If Miami tried this against the Bulls, Boozer and Noah would abuse them down low. They could also match up well with Deng at the 4 and Korver at 3.

This combined with better defense and rebounding leads me to believe a healthy Bulls team would beat this Miami team.

It's not out of the question at all so I don't understand while everyone is bashing the idea. Nobody should argue that a healthy Chicago couldn't get past Miami. The thread is obviously a baiting thread and out of place but the stuff about last year and boozer being soft is ridiculous. It's certainly debatable at the very least

Who knows about Miami but Chicago would have beaten Boston like they have since Thibs joined them. Boston got murdered on the boards when ever they faced the Bulls. But hey homerism right?!

You are 100% correct. The Bulls would have thoroughly dismantled and annihilated the Heat. The series would have been embarrassing for me to watch as a Heat fan. You happy now?

not even debatable - from what happen last year I don't see it changing. Good Day .

Dude gtfoh no need to put our team down even more right now, it'll be hard enough trying to cope as our franchise player recovers from a serious injury not even knowing if he'll be himself again. Don't give ppl the chance to talk ****.

People are not saying it's undebatable, but for the title to say Chi WOULD have crushed Miami like a fact is just flat out stupid.

They had their chance last year, got crushed. Had a low chance this year without Rose, didn't even make it past Philly.

Jordan's Bulls wouldn't have crushed this team.

Rod Harper/Steve Kerr or Paxson vs Mario Chalmers/Norris Cole - Defensive edge goes to Bulls. Offense is even

Jordan vs Wade - edge Jordan - but this is as tough a SG matchup Jordan would have ever had in a Finals. Jordan never really had tough SG matchups in a Finals outside of that one year against Clyde. Hornacek, Majerle and others weren't near Dwayne Wade.

LeBron vs Pippen - edge LeBron. Pippen challenges LeBron because his defense, but LeBron is better overall.

Horace Grant or Rodman vs Battier/Haslem - Edge Bulls but it's not like those guys tear up Miami on the offensive end.

Cartwright or Longley vs Bosh - Edge Bosh - Neither Cartwright or Longley were backdown player so Bosh's size wouldn't have been exposed. Chicago didn't really have any post up guys and LeBron would play on Jordan.

Just something to ponder....

People put the old teams on a pedastal. Other than shooting, everything is done better now than it was even 15 years ago. And Jordan never had to face a team like OKC or Miami with the amount of athletes & perimeter defenders they have.

People love to make a false god of Jordan, but I'm just trying to be honest.
