Man this is awesome. The US rotation is godly, and a lineup than goes Lindor-Profar-Taveras is so cool.

Matt Barnes......can't wait for a mid season ranking after he was left off the top 100 to start the season.

Being a homer...Barnes and Bogaerts!

I know it's just speculation but according to Soxprospects.com Bogaerts is the only prospect that ranks as a 3-10...10 being a hall of fame caliber player. Again I know it's mere speculation...but he gets us Sox fans excited lol.

Like VRP stated...the US starting pitching...wow.

That is not true. Cubs only have Jae-Hoon Ha on the roster. Though part of that is because the US pitching staff is so stacked that I couldn't even start to make an argument for someone like Trey McNutt, who's a good not great prospect and has zero business in the same sentence as that staff.

Good ole World roster. Always has at least 1 Phillies prospect that isnt even a top 10 spec

Ha is actually a decently interesting prospect. He's got an unreal arm (supposedly he's thrown a ball over the scoreboard from home plate before). But he doesn't walk well and for some reason isn't hitting for power.

But he's a long shot to ever be anything more than a 4th OF'er.

He made the team for the reason of being Korean.

I would be interested in him turning into a pitcher

I don't think he can throw anything but a fastball. I've still got hopes of 4th OF'er with him. Honestly, he started walking this year. Which was his issue in the past. It really could be a lack of power because the front office told him to walk more.

He's nothing special, but a little interesting. Apparently a good fielder as well.

I'm friends with Christian Yelich of the Marlins, we keep in touch every few weeks. We went to HS together. It's going to be awesome to watch him play among the games best prospects on national television.

i have a problem with the world roster, how could there possibly be no miguel sano? i mean yeah he is striking out a lot, but he is also walking a ton his OBP is 115 points above his batting avg, and when he does connect he crushes the ball

Machado and Bundy...can't wait.

Gennett is almost the opposite of the Brewers' current second sacker, lacking Rickie Weeks' physicality and power but showing feel for hitting and a short stroke. He's a grinder who can hit, with above-average speed and just enough defensive chops.

I remember when BA raved about Weeks' short stroke and feel for hitting when he came out.

This has the potential to be the best Futures Game in a long time. The minors are finally rebounding from the Great Exodus of talent in the late 2000's.
