Can't wait for their season to start tonight. The number of legit prospects on this team is ridiculous:

Pitchers:

Comer
Estrada
Gabryszwski
Murphy
Musgrove
Norris
Osuna
Robson

Hitters:

Nessy
Dean
Lopes
Thon
Anderson
Arce
Smith, Jr.

That is at least 15 players worth keeping an eye on. Should definitely be exciting.

The minors are going to be foolish now that these short season teams are getting it going.

The GCL Blue Jays are going to be another interesting team to track With IFA's like Cardona,Labourt, Cenas, Becerra,Lugo and Gonzalez playing with 3 of our top picks this year in Davis,Gonzales and Alford, that is another very interesting squad that the Jays have spent a tonne of cash to obtain.

Not to mention your going to see guys like Smoral and Gonzales join them soon. Maybe DeJong as well if he signs very soon...

I can't wait to see Smoral... but I am pretty sure I read he suffered a "season ending" injury to his foot....was that just the high school season? At 6'8 with a mid 80's slider, he should DOMINATE left handed batters.

He had foot surgery in early April if I'm not mistaken...and the timetable for recovery was 12-14 weeks. I'd be surprised if we saw him any time soon.

I look forward to seeing this guy when he is ready. Pretty imposing for the batter to see this giant on the mound. Hope he has a deadly fastball with MOVEMENT to go with that slider.

I saw Osuna pitch in an exhibition Lansing played against Michigan State a few months ago before the minor league season started, and he looked downright dominant. A fastball in the mid-90s that he got up to 97, flashing the potential for a plus breaking ball, and the fact that he's only 17 all adds up a guy that could really shoot up the prospect rankings in an already loaded system. I was more excited from what I saw out of him than even when Norris came in a pitched that game. That Bluefield team looks to be the most talented team in terms of talent, age, and the level they are playing at, even moreso than Lansing and Dunedin.

I've been interested in Thon ever since they shelled out big cash to get him, hope he can live up to it.

He got up to 94 in that game. The stadium guns are hot if that's where you got 97 from. One of the stadium guns had Syndergaard at 104 last year too. Don't trust 'em.

Me too. $1.5M is a lot of coin.

Dan Norris a beast -- 4 perfect innings to start his career with 5 k's.
