This is why people lose any respect they had for Heat fans. We probably have never beaten a team by 50+ points in franchise history. What seriously makes you think we will win by such a ridiculous amount against the best or second best team in the league. With that said, I believe OKC will win by 8.

If I think we are going to lose I will say it. Like the players say, the game comes down to four or five possessions. If we get those we win and if we don't we lose. I have a feeling KD is going to come out and drop 35, while Wade will stink it up. You never know though, anything can really happen (outside of your 51 pt blowout scenario)

This is for their season. This is going to be the best game of the series. OKC will either play out of their minds in the 4th Q or crack under the pressure, but either way it will be a very close game that will come down to 4-5 possessions.

I do not have a dog in this fight, and was not rooting for either team but in watching the last two games and the bad call against Durant. Are the refs going to let him play tonight. It appears to me with Durant engaged that the Thunder are the superior team but with him in foul trouble they are a step behind Miami.

NBA rigged?? That laughable yeah I'm sure a multi billion dollar industry that would receive lawsuits from every casino, sports books, city, state, and any other institution that had any stake financialy would ignore those risks and facts just to rig games so they can give the heat their ring!!! You watch Durants fouls and they are all on him. He is way to light to try and guard Lebron so he hacks. Most of the hacks aren't even called cause Lebron still looks like he gets the shot off with ease. Since Durant hacks at such a high rate due to size he cont to come close to fouling out.

The only compliment I have heard Skip give Lebron is that he "manned up on defense".... Dude is averaging 30 pts and nearly 10 rebounds a game with anywhere from 5-10 assists plus he is playing well in the fourth quarter and Skip STILL won't admit he was at least a little wrong about Lebron.

Skip is entertaining as hell with Stephen A, but the blind stubborn hating is just ridiculous.

ManRam
06-19-2012, 11:20 AM
KD has to stay off of LeBron IMO. At least for a good chunk of the game. If you think he can do the best job on LeBron, save him for later in the game.

Yeah, that 4th foul in Game 3 was a bad call...but KD left his feet and flew in the air over LeBron. It symbolized the defense he had been playing all game. He didn't, or at least barely, touched him, but it's just another example of how poor his defense has and the refs didn't give him the benefit of the doubt.

You can blame it on the refs, but he's committed a TON of bad fouls. Even if the refs are calling it abnormally tight on him, for KD not to get in foul trouble he has to play smarter defense. That's how it gets fixed, not the refs.

I know I'm excessively anti "blame everything on the refs"...but I genuinely think that he's just been careless at times and has been playing poor fundamental defense at times.

Ok ill play, are those casinos handing lawsuits at boxing for the Pacquio fight or could they all possibly have a hand in it?

Boxing has been the same for decades you have judges that see things subjectively from ring side based off whats relatively important to them on winning a bout. Secondly they are all old as hell, I personnely dont believe those specific judges went into that boxing match already giving the nod against PAC. They are human just like all of us, if it was found out later that the judge did rig that bout they would all be toast in court.

Like I said if basketball was rigged you would have whistleblower ever year coming out with new crap but you don't. You might have a few rogue refs. Stern is an extremely smart man and has built a huge reputation not only for himself but for the owners of NBA he isn't going to jeopardize that just to make sure Lebron gets a ring. (sounds pretty stupid when it's put like that now doesn't it)

If it came out that he did rig any aspect of any part of the NBA how do you think the owners that pay him would react that were on the short end of the stick???

What I'm trying to get at is comparing boxing to basketball is stupid totally different entities ran in completely different way with completely different parameters.

Oh and also thinking the NBA is rigged in some way just to help your "I hate Lebron" argument is stupid and make you look like a cry baby grasping at straws.

There's a lot more aspects to the game than just fouls, but I wouldn't expect a close-minded individual such as yourself to comprehend that.

How about Lebron's blatant throw off the back of the backboard? Or the goaltending call on Serge Ibaka that clearly wasn't a goaltend?

Then, we can talk about how impactful all of these pathetic calls are. Durant's fourth foul basically throwing the game away for OKC when he was breaking the game open in game 3. The no call on a blatant foul by Lebron in game 2. The foul by Wade on Thabo when Thabo ripped him in the open court in game 3. The and 1 awarded to Wade for the exact same defense that Lebron played Durant with on the game 2 shot. Phantom foul called on Harden for nothing in game 3.

All of those plays were at crucial moments in the game and it's absolutely pathetic that each and every one of them went AGAINST one team.

Say whatever you want, but the evidence is there and a lot of people know that all the calls I just brought up were indeed blown calls in favor of Miami.

As long as he stays on LeBron, and as long as LeBron keeps going at him, he's going to commit fouls...just like most every defender that guards him

For every scenario you bring up of a bad call that hurt the thunder I can bring up one to match it that hurt the heat. It goes both ways. Like Battier getting called for a blocking foul when kd should of been sitting on the bench after committing his 6th foul with that charge. Let me guess in your mind it was a block!!

See what a lot of idiots like you don't get is the refs are calling the games in real time. Not slowed down rewind and zoom in camera mode after the fact. In realtime based on the angle of the ref it looked like the ball hit under the backboard not behind the backboard. When you slow it down and zoom in it look like it hit the back of the backboard and the underside as well. Refs don't have this omni presence where they can see everything at all angles. It's part of the game.

Whiners like you will never get that and you're fine with that aspect of the game as long as it benefits you but as soon as it doesn't then get the tissue cause the tears are flown. Please do yourself a favor and instead of sobbing throughout the game and seeing everything in tear filled eyes. Calm yourself down gather yourself and watch the game tear free and objectively.

He needs to stick to what he knows and remember he's only 23 and that part of his game will come in time but right now it will only hurt the team as he tries to will them to victory

Oh and also thinking the NBA is rigged in some way just to help your "I hate [/B[B]]Lebron" argument is stupid and make you look like a cry baby grasping at straws.

I dont hate Lebron so dont put words in my mouth young man, secondly i was just letting you know that not everything is black and white there is a lot of grey in the middle. I could care less who wins the finals because i dont care for park basketball. I like half court offense where the coaches have to go at it like a chess game not a checkers game. Both teams got to the finals by the whistle its only fitting that the games will come down to who gets the calls...

I think it's amazing how the story line shifts from 1 series to the next regarding the officiating.

Hmm remember Game 6 Spurs vs OKC and the refs dare I say it gave OKC the game with all the calls they were getting and when Spurs fans were complaning they were telling us to stop whining and so on and so on, But oh now Durant getting in foul trouble and everyone blaming the refs for this that and the third. They should take they're own advice and stop crying.

Nice post, you said nothing of relevance. I'm an idiot for being pissed that my team is blatantly getting the short end of the stick over and over again. Of course I understand that they're making these calls in ****ing real time, thanks for the logistics lesson though.

You'd be singing a different tune if the Heat were getting screwed on every single significant call. Quit acting like you're some objective fan that "understands" that the game is tough to call. You're the same guy who basically claimed that fouls are the only way to determine a ref's performance just 30 minutes ago.

And Battier's play was a block, watch it again. You're "objective", so you should be able to see that it was a fair play, right? Haha, tool.

I remember it like it happened 5 minutes ago.

I think when you get the amount of calls they do at times, when they start to NOT get them or start getting called for them it seems worse than it is.

I saw someone bring up a goaltending call on Serge. Dude had at least 5 that went un-called last round. 2 of which clearly were on the glass.

Thank you, It's just karma if you want to say it that way if the Thunder not talking about it then they shouldn't either. Because Joe Crawford lead them to the finals now they're not getting calls it's the refs fault when it's more to it then that.

Heat win if they continue to be agressive on the boards and in the paint. Take it into OKC and make the refs make the foul calls.

OKC can win this game because it seems they always have a ton of fight in them (never giving up). Continue doing what you do on offense and stop sending the Heat to the foul line. Ibaka and Perkins have to keep the ball out of the paint. Battie has been shooting lights out from 3 and Mike Miller is always dangerous but the Thunder need to start picking out who they can leave out at the 3 point line and start collapsing the paint so Miami will have to shoot from the outside more. And, stop giving up offensive rebounds to Bosh and James...

Say whatever you want, but the evidence is there and a lot of people know that all the calls I just brought up were indeed blown calls in favor of Miami.

the refs have been good in this series and haven't given either team an edge either way. of course there are missed calls, these are the biggest, strongest, fastest athletes in the world and they don't have replay for every call and they are making a split second decision.

Why the Heat are up in this series has to do less about Lebron and more about the Thunder. Everyone, including the analysts will try to explain more complicated reasons why the Heat are up such as: Lebron is different; Brooks took Westbrook out; Durant's fouls; Running into 3-point shooters. It is not that complicated.

The only reason the Thunder are down is- They're missing free throws! They are uncharacteristically shooting 71 percent from the line in this series as oppose to their regular season league leading 81 percent. I mean they make half the free throws they missed and they could easily be up 3-0 in this series. The Heat shot 88 percent from the line in game 3 and won.

What does that tell you? They have to shoot a high percentage to have a chance at winning. All the Thunder have to do is shoot their average of 81% and they have a shot. Just think of it, if the Thunder shot the 88% the Heat did, this game is over and the Thunder comes up with the win.

Going to be another good one that I honestly believe could go either way. OKC has got to find a way to start a game better and not play keep up all game. I just realized another thing about espn being a joke... Serge ibaka can hardly speak English, I guarantee he didn't mean to put Lebron down there, he's right about Miami being a great team unit defensively, language barrier issue for sure... Colleen Dominguez is a clown for doing that, and shame on Lebron for lashin out on the guy when he clearly doesn't know the English language very well

They are making jumpshots.... We shall see how this keeps up

Some weird gay **** lol

lol, yeah. Definitely subdued compared to Miami's.

@WadeCounty thanks!

..Thunder are actually hitting their jump shots, should be interesting to see if they continue this, especially in the 4th.

Lebron isn't a good defender. He can only play defense for 2-3 minutes.

I don't know what he meant to say by that. That is blatant. I don't care, but the language barrier thing is bs

OKC needs to keep up the pressure and Lebron will crumble.

I think he meant one on one with KD, and he's right, no one can guard KD do he's right there

He said "he's not a good defender" That has no other explanation. He's been in the US for at least a few years. He knows what that statement meant.
