I'm thinking of purchasing MLB.tv so I can watch games on my Xbox. So, I figured some people on here probably have it, and I was wanting some opinions on if it was worth it, and if there has been any problems with the service. Thanks.

It's definitely worth it. I use MLB.tv on my iphone, PS3 and my Lap top. I never have any problems. It's probably the best thing 100-120 bucks can get you.

blackouts do apply so keep that in mind. If you live out of your teams area, then you're fine.

^^Yeah, I have local channels to view the Braves so I wouldn't be using it for that. I'm probably gonna go ahead and buy it tomorrow, just wanted to check here and make sure it was worth it. Plus it's half off tomorrow.

If you know when to buy them, $95 will get you an upper deck season ticket to watch the Blue Jays.

Except when it's a Saturday and FOX carries like 5 national games.

But I got it for the PS3 and it's 10 times better than I thought it would be.

I also think MLB.com has a deal for $50 of MLB.TV premium for the rest of the year.

I would suggest having an internet speed of 5 or better.

My internet speed is slow -- averages 2.5-2.6 and that wasn't good enough to prevent both lost picture and stuttering / freezing screens every few minutes.
Again - adequate router, modem and internet speed is required.

What works fine for my setup is M.I.L.B.com/TV
I get all the Tigers AAA Toledo Mudhens games with good picture. About once a week I get the Tigers Double-A Erie Seawolves and Single A-Ball West Michigan Whitecaps games.
That yearly subscription is only $39.95.

MLB.tv is great. I watch it on my iPad, office computer when I'm supposed to be working, and at home on my TV through a Roku and listen to games through my iPhone in the car. Best $100+ a baseball fan can spend.

MLB.tv is the bomb. The NFL needs to come up with something similar.

I'm not at home to try it, but can you set up proxy's on PS3?

It really is worth the money, I bought it at the beginning of the year for the first time after thinking about it for years. Will keep buying in the future.

If you have a wireless connection, it shouldn't matter. I think once you install it on your PS3 (they give you a code to online to input), you should be set.

I think they also do the free daily games on the PS3 too, if you want to try that.
