One of the 16 year olds they sign this July 2nd......or Alex Azor...the guy who would've signed for a hotdog.

Really? You didn't sense the sarcasm...I mean it was kind of obvious given the thread...

I'm with Krylian. It will be Alex Azor.

as a hot dog guy at Rogers Centre.

Darnaud. He's much farther in his development as a hitter than Gose.

Hech is a DL stint to Johnson or Escobar away from being called up imo.

Travis Snider... nevermind, the Jays hate him.

There would be something very wrong if Syndegaard or Norris made it up before D'Arnaud or Gose.

D'Arnaud should be up now. Have you seen JPA play? Every morning I actually pray Mathis is in the starting line-up.

Better question: have you seen d'Arnaud play?

Even if JPA was a league average catcher, you gotta call this kid up. He is very, very good and darn near every time he comes up, he hits the ball hard.

I really have a feeling JPA is traded and TDA is called up - the kid is just a much better talent and deserves a shot. If you can get decent value for JPA in a deal for a pitcher or 1st baseman, then I think you have to take it.

I hope you're right. It does seem like the perfect time. d'Arnaud is looking far too good for AAA, JPA has cost us a few games recently and is mired in another one of his long-term slumps, and the trade deadline is slowly approaching. I hold out hope, though, that AA will wait on another hot streak out of JP and not misperceive it as a breakout, then strike while the iron is hot.

Snider went 4-5 with a double for dunedin last night. Hopefully he is back in Vegas soon and pushing Gose for the next OF call up.
