When keepin it real goes wrong....

Boston police are investigating an alleged stabbing that occurred immediately outside of TD Garden following Game 6. Witnesses say the suspect, allegedly wearing a Heat jersey, stabbed a Celtics fan on his right thigh with a switchblade-like knife. More details via the Boston Globe: “A 22-year-old college student was stabbed near the TD Garden last night after a fight over the Celtics game, which had just ended, Boston police said. The man was wounded in the right thigh after an altercation on Beverly Street at about 11:26 p.m., a police report stated. Boston police spokeswoman Nicole Grant said the victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. She said no one has been arrested in the incident. She described the suspect as a white male, 6 feet tall. He left the area with a group of people after the attack. The police report stated the incident began when two groups met on the street and ‘became vocal about the result of the Celtics game,’ which was a dispiriting loss to the Miami Heat. The suspect was included in a group of people who were wearing Miami Heat gear, the report said. The victim was in a different group. The report did not give details on the dispute. ‘The groups started to argue loudly and the unnamed suspect brandished a large switchblade and stabbed the victim in the right thigh,’ according to the report. The report said friends of the victim took a T-shirt and wrapped it on his wound. Police took custody of the T-shirt and logged it as evidence.”

Do people really take sports this seriously? You'd be surprised. A sports talk radio show in Cleveland hired a witch doctor to put a curse on LeBron James and the Miami Heat. IIRC, they even made a sacrifice by killing an animal. Looking up the story to make sure.

Edit: they didn't sacrifice an animal, they used bones and blood, instead.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/26/cleveland-radio-host-hire_n_774353.html

CLEVELAND — A radio host in Cleveland has hired a witch doctor in an attempt to send some bad mojo to basketball star LeBron James after he ditched the Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat.

WMMS-FM broadcast the hex ceremony Tuesday morning, hours before the Heat's season opener in Boston.

The radio station says a witch doctor used bones, blood and a James jersey to cast a curse on the two-time MVP.

The host of "Rover's Morning Glory" says it's payback for the way James called it quits with the Cavs earlier this year.

This is what happens when Wade>You is placed near Celtic fans.. Just kidding around man :D

This is pathetic. Didn't somebody kill their friend via throwing knife last year in the finals after Dallas made a comeback? Some people let the heat get to their heads... Hopefully the idiot who did this is locked up for a long time.

Super.

What a disgrace of a fan......

Totally agree, but i would like to know more details. If 5 cetlics fans tried to jump and a heat fan or something like that...like i said, would b nice to know the whole story. I find it hard to beleive some heat fan just walked up and stabbed a celtics fan.

Weapons are never the answer.

yes. it must have been the celtics fans, because it is inconceivable that it is the heats fans fault. and this after all that "the entire city of boston are classless racists" thread the other day. I guess the entire city of miami must be criminals. To be clear, im not trying to bait, and i obviously don't believe the entire city of miami are criminals, im just very upset over how one fan pouring a beer on lebron caused everyone to say bostonians are all racist. this just goes to show every fanbase has their bad apples

It said two groups.

And I find that just homerish. Do teams' fans have to defend everything? Seriously, just because a guy wears a Heat jersey or is a fan in part of their life doesn't mean that they're not a thug in the rest of their life.

The difference between this and people pouring beer and **** is we don't know what happend. For all we know the Heat fan could be a converted ex-Celtics fan who grew up yelling expletives infront of children and pouring beer on players, so that's the only life he knows.

just a few examples where people go way overboard...

Japanese people and their crazy shows Americans try to copy but dumb it way down
American reality shows
Canadians and hockey
Al Queda's objective (or conspiracy that Americans did it to themselves)
