I went with Miggy and Wright, although Beltre is a good option and Chipper is a feel good story if chosen by the fans.

Chipper was playing damn well before he got hurt, but David Wright has been way better still anyways.

I can't believe Trumbo's on the MLB All Star ballot at 3B. He's only played 8 games at 3B (and made 4 errors in those 8 games).

Where is Moustakas? Only voted for David Wright since the guy I wanted to vote for in the AL was not even on the ballot.

Fwiw, Brett Lawrie clearly deserves the AL Gold Glove if the season were to end today. 24 runs saved already! Are you kidding? He hasn't even played 500 innings yet. That's almost unreal

Don't you think a lot of that has to do with all the shifts Toronto uses?

I'm sure it does. I have seen him throw out guys from shallow right this year.

But if a hitter beats the shift, that would be counting against Lawrie just the same. He is making far more outs than anyone else at third base this year defensively. It's good that his manager is putting him in a position to succeed, which is what all good managers do. And the shifts shouldn't be used in a way to take away from his value. He still has to execute all of the plays, which is what he has been doing.

I can't vote because I'm on the mobile app but if we are counting trumbo as a 3b I'll take him and wright. Otherwise I'll take cabrera.
