Thoughts on Game 7
- If you're Boston, you can't expect the officiating to be in your favor for 4 games in a row. They will have to win by being the better team.
- I expect Miami to get ALL the calls in their favor this game, based on how they slayed the officiating in Game 6, which is the equivalent of lifting Excalibur from stone or LeRoy finally acquiring "the glow" to become the Last Dragon and defeating Sho'nuff.
-If Heat come out and just play decent, the refs will make sure they advance.

Keys for miami to win
-Bron keep doing what he is doing
-Wade needs to show up, just ****ing show up from tip off to final buzzer
-roll players need to hit a few shots
-Out rebound the celtics
-Get back on d and play high energy defense. Dont leave allen, bass or kg wide open
-bosh just needs to hang out in the corner on offense so KG cant roam and play help defender
-keep switching on the rondo-kg pick and roll

The game isnt on but predicting the refs will be horrible and will help the heat out is 100% safe bet. It is proven through every game and series the heat have had. Their is no debating it because there is so much proof. Best part of watching the heat so far was when lebron got beer poured on him. Hes garbage. An OKC vs MIA finals would be the best finals since 1998, 1997, 1993, 1992, 1991 where the guys who finished 1st and 2nd in MVP voting went head to head. However, and I usually don't give predictions, but Boston will upset Miami in Game 7

Let me check on wikipedia to see what happened. Oh look, they lost.

I find it hilarious that somebody called KG/Pierce/Allen the "average 3". When all 3 of them will be in the hall of fame, and all 3 of them have rings. And the funny thing is, they won it all when they were at the end of their primes, when they were around 31-32 years old. If they had played at the same age together as the Heat big 3, they would have won it every year with any luck.

Just another moronic post in the NBA forum...

ChitownBears22

Actually, no they didn't.

Before Ray Allen was traded to Boston for Jeff Green, Sczerbiak, and Delonte West, KG said that he didn't want to go to Boston because they weren't so race friendly there and weren't as competitive with just Paul Pierce there alone.

Then, all of a sudden, when the Ray Allen trade happened, KG was like "cool, I'm down with that", and on Aug. 1, 2007, KG was traded for like 5 mediocre guys and Al Jefferson.

Wade/LeBron/Bosh decided from the 2008 Olympics that they wanted to join each other, thus why LeBron chose his #6 that he chose at the Olympics and the fact that the Heat were the only team in the league to retire a Jordan #23 jersey in their own team's uniform, so LeBron petitioned a yr ahead for the #6 jersey knowing that he wouldn't be able to wear the #23 jersey in Miami because that honor already belonged to MJ up in the rafters at Amercian Airlines Arena.

That my friend, is a collusion. Not what Boston did, that was all credited to Ainge.

Not a fan of either team, although I respect the hell out of them both. Just don't see Miami losing two games at home this series.

Interesting dynamic here:

1) Miami has everything to prove. They want to shut the world up.

2) Maybe the last opportunity for the Celts Big 4. Lot of pride on that team, so I'd expect them to give it their all.

The Boston Big 4 have been in 5 postseasons together.

If they were to lose this series, that would make it 4 series they have lost (w/ the 1 title).

And of the 4 series they will have lost, 3 of those would be by blowing a 3-2 series lead.

Orlando didn't have their starting PG Jameer Nelson, who was having his best yr that yr.

These Celtics have a horrible habit of not closing out series. They lost game 6 in Orlando, and then game 7 in Boston.

You go back to the 2010 ECF, they got a 3-0 lead, couldn't close the deal game 4 in boston and then lost game 5 in orlando before barely closing it out back home in game 6.

2010 Finals, please, you're supposed to go for the kill, but just like game 6 two days ago when they came out sluggish and dumb and scored 79 pionts, in game 6 of the 2010 finals, they once again came out and dumb and got blownout by 22 by the Lakers, scoring just 67 pts in that game. I understand the Perkins injury hurt them, no question, but Perkins isn't Shaq that hell drop 40. He had trouble scoring 4 pts, he's no offensive machine. And they inserted a guy who loved shooting the ball in Sheed, so why did they manage to score just 67 and 79 in the last 2 games against the Lakers respectively?

These Celtics have this horrible tendency to blow series leads whether it'd be 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 leads. If they lose tonight and we see the last of the Big 4 in Boston, I don't think anyone should feel sorry for them.

They ALWAYS shoot themselves in the foot and they have piss poor offensive execution as they heavily rely on Rondo, and we defenses adjust, they get all out of whack and really have no semblance of an offensive game system outside of Rondo facilitating. Maybe Pierce, but he shows up and has those brilliant individual games every 3 games or so.

BOSTON (CBS) – The NBA announced Joey Crawford, Scott Foster and Mike Callahan as the referee crew for Saturday night’s Eastern Conference finals Game 7 in Miami.

Both Foster and Callahan were on the crew for the Celtics’ Game 3 win in Boston. Crawford was part of the Game 4 crew, also a Celtics’ win.

Callahan has just five postseason games under his belt this postseason, but the Celtics are 10-1 in the last 11 games with Callahan part of the crew.

For Crawford and Foster, this will be their league-high 13th postseason game this season.

Like what the other poster said. How the hell are they suppose to win a championship with their best player not at 100% for two seasons and missing the whole playoffs in another? Also add in the fact they were missing their starting center in game 7...

Tech On KG for saying Hi to crawford

I think the Heat win big tonight.

For some reason I just don't see Boston having an answer for Lebron. Lebron can single handily dominate the game, even if it's for "3 and a half quarters".
Boston needs to toughen out because I see Lebron putting 40 tonight.

Argument???? You have made weak points dude....who would even bring up that Orlando series???? Health is an issue for these guys that may have something to do with them not being able to close things out. Why do you think they have been able to play this well in the playoffs??? It may have something to do with the shortened season. By mid season who would of had the celtics playing miami in a game seven????? If this was an entire season I wouldn't of had them getting past the hawks. Anyways I do remember one season where the celtics came back from a 22 point lead and whooped that behind to win a ring....

DaSeba5

This could possibly be the end of the big 3 for Boston, or even for Miami. Ironically, the first game Miami's big 3 played together was against Boston, and Boston was the team that kicked LeBron out of Cleveland. Meanwhile, Boston eliminated Miami in 5 even though Wade was Superman in that series. We beat them in 5 last year. There's a lot of history with this team.

It's almost perfect that this series will end with a game 7.

No foul on Pierce when hit Battier on the 3?

Chalmers got robbed yet again in this series and it gets Boston a second chance to make a basket, which KG does.

Not worried. Couple bad calls but it happens. I am sure the Celtics will get some by the end of the game. Bosh needs to get in there and Spo needs to start running some sort of an offense. Don't understand how everything ran smoothly last game and now it looks slow and stagnant.
