Rules are,

the player can NOT Be in the Hall of Fame

The player must be one that Played for your squad at some point

and why?

My pick would Be Antoine walker back to the celtics

Would give us a legit scorer off the bench and one that could spell KG

I would love to see Jordan at 50 still killing *****es. The man put up 15 or more 30+ point games as a 38 and 39 year old against dudes 10-15 years younger then him. He put up 5 or more 40 point games each year with the Wizards as well.

If I was Chicago...I would bring him back as the starting SG who plays reserve mins (20-22 mpg) and puts up 12-15 PPG with ease.

Aw man, half the Lakers that I would mention are in the Hall.

Ok, give me a second to think of someone like Gary Payton, albeit in his prime.

The Glove
Black Mamba
Andrew "Mr. Glass" Bynum
Pau "The Spaniard/The Black Swan" Gasol
Metta World (War) Peace

LOL  got ahead of myself, I didn't see the no HOFer part.

In that case, I'd love to see Peja Stojakovic back again off of the Heat bench or on the Lakers before they lost. If they had him to space the floor for Pau/Bynum or the wide open looks he'd get on the heat, it would be early 2000's for me all over again.

I don't think Dan Majerle is in the HOF. I'd go with him. Not a whole lot of retired Suns to choose from that would make the difference.
TBH, Thuder Dan now, could still make shots. Not sure how he'd do if he got in playing shape again but he could certainly be an outside shooter for us again.
In his prime? Forget about it. The dude was D and lights out from 3

Mitch richmond. Kings win it all next year. or webber.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think I'd go as far as to say we'd win it all next year, but having "The Rock" or C-Webb would be huge for the Kings. Now...are we saying these guys would be in their prime, or would they be playing in their current physical condition? I'll assume the former.

Could you imagine C-Webb with Cousins playing 4-5? Wow. Two beastly big men with the ability to score, and who possess amazing passing skills, would definitely help move the team back towards relevance. Or having Richmond there to actually distribute the ball, AND consistently hit outside shots(both of which our currently roster lacks big time). Either player would improve the Kings immensely, and it would be a dream come true for the fans.

I was going to add Vlade, but he's in the FIBA Hall of Fame, so I figured that probably disqualifies him. It's not THE Hall of Fame, but a Hall of Fame all the same.

Richmond was a scorer first and foremost.

I honestly cannot disagree with that...superficially. Richmond made his career as a shooter/scorer. This I know. But his passing skills have always been incredibly underrated. I remember back in '89(yes, I'm old), my dad, my brother and I went to back-to-back games against the Warriors(one at home, one away). In both games I remember Richmond making some amazing passes; so amazing that the images have stuck with me for over 20 years. Now, to be fair, he did drop nearly 50 on us in that first game, so his scoring skills were on full display. I think he scored almost 30 in the second game. But to say Richmond was a scorer first and foremost is a statement based on what he did, not what he would do were he on the Kings now. He would definitely shoot the ball a lot(as I originally stated), but he's also the kind of player who will utilize all his skills to best benefit the team. This team needs shooting and passing, hence, he would be more of a passer than he was in the past...while still shooting lights-out. I'm not saying he would average 10+ dimes a game, but I do think he would be more of a distributor now than he was in the past. The skills are there, so why not?

It would seem as if our opinions differ simply due to personal subjectivity. But I think we can agree on one thing: The Kings and their fans would love to have The Rock back on the squad.
