Here are the 50 greatest players in NBA history that we have right now:

Elgin Baylor, Dave Bing, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy

Dave Cowens, Billy Cunningham, Dave DeBusschere, Clyde Drexler, Julius Erving

Patrick Ewing, Walt Frazier, George Gervin, Hal Greer, John Havlicek

Elvin Hayes, Magic Johnson, Sam Jones, Michael Jordan, Jerry Lucas

Karl Malone, Moses Malone, Pete Maravich, Kevin McHale, George Mikan

Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Oscar Robertson, David Robinson, Bill Russell

Dolph Schayes, Bill Sharman, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Nate Thurmond

Wes Unseld, Bill Walton, Jerry West, Lenny Wilkens, James Worthy

But who's the next 20? Remember, next 20 can be current and already retired guys who haven't earned that honor yet, but in some capacity, still deserve to be there.

Here's mine (from when they first entered the league):

52. Dominique Wilkins
53. Dennis Rodman
54. Gary Payton
55. Reggie Miller
56. Jason Kidd
57. Kevin Garnett
58. Kobe Bryant
59. Allen Iverson

The 50 greatest players was determined at the 1997 NBA All-Star Game, Kobe was only a rookie.

This isn't the Top 10 greatest players of all time, it's the 50 greatest players in NBA history.

Now, I'm asking who's the next 20.

No Pierce?

No Pierce?

I put him there, and then I was re-adjusting the order and accidentally deleted him. My apologies. Of course he deserves to be there. Finals MVP, staying with 1 franchise, clutch player.

They are not listed according to how good they were, Saddler, they are listed according to when they first entered the NBA.

70. Derrick Rose

While I did not have time to carefully look over those 20, I can tell you that I would much rather have Chris Paul on this list than Derrick Rose. Rose may have an MVP, but Paul has been the better player for much longer. Also, Rose's MVP was one of the weakest in NBA history.
