Amare at Heat game last night- as a Knicks fan I am totally disgusted

Maybe I could accept it if it was a western conference game but the team that made a joke of us in the first round and a team we have a bumpy past with.

I have to question someones competitive nature for going to a game like this

How would you feel if this was your team that you followed?

IMO its bad. I can see how he would want to go watch a game like this, but do it from your house

WTF? Your insane, lots of players grow up as FANS OF THE GAME. Why wouldnt you watch a highly competitive game front row?

What's the problem? It's not like he had on a Heat jersey.

why can't the man go and watch a game...it doesn't matter if they put him out...hell he should be there if not for anything else then to say, "this is where I want my team to be at next season"...there is nothing wrong with watching good basketball in person in his homestate...it doesn't make sense for him to travel west when all he has to do is go down the interstate

He should be taking fire extinguisher coarses instead of going to ball games.

Do you know how many players go to the superbowl every year?

Charles Oakley wouldn't be caught dead at a Bulls game while he was a member of the Knicks

This is a non issue. Who cares if he was at a Heat game? Maybe he's friends with some of the players on the Heat and wants to support them.

PSD is worse then the media about making a big deal out of nothing.

The only problem I would have with it is that he wasn't still playing. Other than that it's really not a big deal.

wait so other players aren't allowed to be fans of the NBA and use their millions upon millions of dollars to sit in the best seats at the best sporting events?

Kevin Love was at a Lakers game. So what? Amare is from Florida, you don't think he was a heat fan growing up? C'mon now, it's not like he's leaving New York for Miami. Just going to watch an amazing series

This. Why can't he just enjoy a game. It's not like he was giving guys daps or high fives after they made baskets.

Maybe Woody told him to go watch KG and learn what defense and rebounding is all about.

I can see both sides of the argument...

Amare is a fan of the game first so I totally understand him going. Sometimes, pros want to be fans too. It's a great game and he should be able to enjoy the game, no matter who's playing.

Unless, it was the team that just finished you in the playoffs that same year. Man, these players are all friends now anyways so I understand. But where's the competitive fire here? He shouldn't want to see their face until the end of the season.

NYYCowboys

I didn't like it. Maybe I'm just still in the 90s basketball mindset as another poster said before, but in 1997 when the Heat eliminated the Knicks do you think any Knicks player would show up to the Heat's next series? I don't think so.

This is the reason I can't stand Amare. He's a soft *****. He's posting pictures of food his personal chef cooked him an hour before the game he's supposed to be getting ready for. I just wish he was more focused and a lot tougher, and fiery on the court.
