View Full Version : Pat Rileys needs to trade Wade in the offseason.

Riley needs to trade Wade in the off season . Go to a team like Denver and offer them Wade (who they'd love to sell tickets again) for a slew of Ty Lawson, Wilson Chandler, Mcgee, etc. You could get some awesome pieces that would make the Heat damn near unbeatable with Lebron and Bosh still there. You need a PG and an off-ball 2-guard, plus a C. Wade could get you all that.

Thoughts?

I agree .. but Miami would Fired Their coach before they break up their Big 3

They don't need that much. Besides Miami would never trade Wade. Center and maybe backup PG are the only real holes, I think Chalmers is capable.

Wade for Dwight.
-or-
Lebron for Conley, Gay, Gasol.
-or-
Lebron for Lowry, Scola, Martin.

I'm not even looking into contacts or anything, but with the players Miami has, they could basically get 95% of the players in the league if they wanted.

LeBron wouldn't like that. He came to Miami to play with Wade. If anything, fire the coach, or trade the dinosaur looking guy for some better role players.

GREATNESS ONE

Coach is gone first if Miami doesn't win this year. 1 last year (next) at it if nothing then comes the explosion.

Bosh would definitely be the first of the three to go, but could Miami even get anything good for him?

Absolutely. Bosh is still a top PF in the game whether people want to admit it or not.

Miami trading Wade is like LA trading Kobe or Yankees trading Jeter, just not gonna happen, even if its whats best for the team.

He certainly is, but I meant in terms of improving the team. Miami would really only improve if they got a center IMO, and who would that be in a potential Bosh trade?

Miami is never getting rid of wade or lebron . from a marketing sell stand point they are two of the most popular players right now .

they should go after some bench players . maybe send bosh for a few good players

Oh I see what you meant... Good point.

I'm sure there's a way they could improve somewhere out there, but enough to pull the trigger? I'm not so sure. I think if they could swing Bosh for a solid PG/big man combo, then it might be worth doing. Otherwise, if they're going to trade anyone, I say trade one of the other two (Wade or Lebron).

Seriously though, the Heat's big 3 lacked proper balance from the get-go and they still have the potential to grab a championship.

A dynasty is born.

You're an idiot. Just trade Wade and Spo to the Bulls for Jordan/Pippen/Phil. Jordan comes off the bench, and Scottie Pippen can be LeBron's... Scottie Pippen

Seriously though, bring Pat back, trade Wade for a used tampon and BANG - instant favorites again

Larry Brown would be perfect so I hope he doesn't coach there.

if I was Denver I wouldn't do that trade. they lose 3 really good young players for one Guy? you see how that worked out with my Knicks.

if i have one of the big three to move, it will be james !
wade has already won a championship, he can close a game on his own, James can't. Pressure affect him too much.
Trade james for a good PG + defensive center and i'll be worry about playing against the heat

example :
Heat trade james to knicks
knicks trade melo to nets and tyson chandler to heat
nets trade deron williams to heat (sign and trade)

heat : chandler + williams
knick : james
nets : melo (and they go after dwigt then !)

if that is done, i'm scared. It also make some sens to everybody.
heat lineup of : williams-wade-battier-bosh-chandler...wowww
not sure it will be easy with salary lol

The Heat are not trading any of the 3. If anyone wishes to make a trade with Miami, let it be for anyone but them.

So NO, NO, & NO to all the trade posted.

ok...so I'm not sure you'll win a title soon....your team is really not complementary. but if you want to keep the 3, I'm ok...

Your opinion is noted, but we still don't have a 2012 NBA Champion just yet.
+ They are so close that the smallest of improvement at C, would do it.

Sayin the Heat dont win and the do feel the need to move one of the 3 imo it would be Wade. First of all he is the oldest of the 3 and with his style of play his prime is going to end .durin the season they were 12 - 1 without him james and bosh play well together and u can get what you need in a trade for wade. I heard many different trade proposals and many make the heat a better team a few options are as follows from what I hear
Wade for marc gasol and oj mayo
Wade for howard
the others made no sense for heat to seperate with wade and they need a big for him maybe even a bynum the pg spot can be filled easily because of free agency many players would be willin to come down like
Nash
Kidd
Jason terry
Chalmbers is solid and cole has potential for their future
They would also be able to go after a few other players like chris kaman kg ray allen few more of course and the dont need much more to be champs for many years is this crazy lol what you think?

Sign Camby to a 3 year, min mid lev exc, find the best PG that would sign for the min & we are set.

Pistons fan here, but not a trade with Detroit.

Miami gets:
R Rondo
P Pierce
2012 1st rd pick

Boston gets:
D Wade
M Chalmers
N Cole
2012 1st rd pick

No way would either teams do this. It goes against all logic.

Possibly, but it would add some youth to Boston, while still having an elite scorer. Miami adds more pieces to continue their "reign", or chase of the Lakers recent titles. It is an out there kind of trade, but would mix things up for both teams(granted if Miami wins this year, they won't tinker too much). In the end, you are correct for the most part.
