If saying stuff like that is the reason they lose the series then the celtics have bigger problems. Honestly almost no one gave the C's a chance coming in the series so why the hell would Rondo care. He is just gonna ball until the series ends and say whatever the **** he wants.

Truthfully what I liked most about it was the fact that he said it and then did not take it back. Everybody says **** to the media and then takes it back or apologizes by the next day. If you're going to apologize then why say it at all.

He's right.

Whether a foul should have been called or not, too many times you see Heat players complaining to the refs and taking themselves out of the play on the other end.

Too bad Spo doesnt have the balls to say anything to his guys.

I will agree that Rondo cries to the refs as well.

However, there's a big difference between complaining when the plays dead and when the other team is running doen the court.

Well its true especially for a team that shots twice as many free throws as their opponents.

Every player complains including the black mamba but even he would look stupid complaining to the refs if he got the touch/breathe fouls that they get.
The NBA is soft which means more crying even if you have nothing to complain about.

He's absolutely right, but they can whine in transition all they want, it just leads to easy buckets on the other end when the Heat aren't getting back on D.

I love how Rondo is playing right now, he's making great decisions with the ball, limiting his turnovers and looks like a real leader out there. During a timeout late in the game, the cameras cut to the Celtics bench and he was the one telling everyone what to do.

If Rondo develops a sense of accountability and leadership with his ability the NBA better watch out. It's only a matter of time before he becomes more consistent.

Rajon Rondo blasts the Miami Heat at halftime when asked what allowed the Celtics to score so many points on one of the league's best defenses. He said, "Them complaining and crying to referees in transition."
Lol, gotta love Rondo! He's right though, you can see Heat players too many times stand there after missed shots to complain rather than get back.

lebron doesnt do it. its only wade. and its funny because he hasn't just started this. he's been doing it for much of his career. lebron gives it his all every night though. he complains but most of the time he gets back on defense. wade has annoyed me with this for too long though. just get up and play the game.

Rondo was right but this is the type of **** that pisses me off with him. He has such a high basketball IQ on the court (see the play where he threw it off Lebron's leg to avoid a last second heave w/ the shot clock expiring) but he does stupid **** like this. Why even piss off the Heat? And even worse, why bring to their attention the mistake they're making. If the Heat actually pay attention to this and get back on D because he called them out, that's bad for the Celtics.

MIA scored more points than BOS in Game 2 so... 2-2 is right. But BOS played well in that Game 2 - well enough that I have some faith they can get it done in Game 5. I think BOS should be able to take Game 6 at home regardless of Game 5's outcome (if they lose Game 5 I think their pride is too great to let their 5-year run end on their own floor and if they win Game 5 I trust them to close it out at home).

great player but he is a dumbass. not that this is a wrong comment. just other things he has done. he is not a smart person off the court. and he is apparently a douchebag in the locker room. just an irritable guy. last year apparently when they lost to miami he smashed a tv in the locker room during film study. that is why you hear rumors of them trading him despite being amazing on the court.

I don't think Rondo is a dumbass - I think he's mentally unstable. We don't think of athletes as people, but they have psychological problems just like us. I think Rondo has a messed up head. I really believe his will to win and competitiveness is right up there with anyone else in the league. I think he really wants to always do the right thing, but he's jsut a headcase. Doc has even mentioned that it's what makes him so tough and fun to coach at the same time.

Rondo is 100% right. Can't stand LBJ and especially Wade *****ing at the refs and not getting back on D.

It has to be taken as a shot because that's not the only thing that was hurting the Heat, how about KG's height advantage and play, Ray Allen's resurgence from the 3 pt. line, heck even Dooling was draining 3's. But what does Rondo go out of the way to say, "the Heat were crying". What team doesn't cry about calls, seriously. We get it, no one likes the Heat and whatever they do will be magnified to the tenth power. Rondo knew he'd appease the Heat Haters but much to his dismay he shouldn't have poured kerosine on the fire...

Well. Heat fans shouldn't panic. The fix is still in for LeBron to get his. The refs had to look more "Fair" after the script was too clear in Game 2. So the objective calling by the refs have just made the path longer, but the NBA's goldenchild getting his, is inevitable!

After every wade or lebron drive that they dont get a call on, wade does the famous angels in the outfield dance to the ref and the celtics get.a 5 on 4 where rondo can lick apart better than anyone since magic amd usually ends up in a transition corner three or a ridiculous pass to kg who somehow beats wade and lebron down the floor for an and 1. Rondo's a nutcase. Has been for years.

He's not always great at self-censoring, and even nutbags can be right. He saw the transition baskets, saw the complaining, and pointed it out. Yes, it's a shot, but yes it's true.

Should he have said it? Probably not.

However, if you put up 44 points against the Heat and have 13 playoff triple/doubles, you've earned some slack at the microphone.

because it was a stupid rule and they got rid of it quickly. to not be able to react to a call is dumb. overreacting is one thing but no reaction in a game of emotions like basketball is a dumb thing to try and expect from players.

lebron doesnt foul because he is the rare player who can keep up with every player in the league quickness wise, strength wise, he is huge and long, and he has ridiculously impeccable timing to block/ contest shots.

he simply doesnt foul a lot. don't look at his numbers and say "he plays so much he should foul more". technically yes, but you have to watch him actually play to realize he simply does not foul a lot.

Right, but it's relative to maturity. As a Bulls fan it's much more noticeable to me as we only got Boozer who is a constant complainer. Rondo and Doc would complain like the world was about to end when we played the Celts. Just saying, Rondo is right and all, I doubt he will complain as much going forward as he has learned to detest it.

I think what he's saying is lebron doesn't foul as often as most players, due to the fact that he is physically superior compared to most players. So his physical ability allows him to be in better positions, meaning he doesn't have to resort to fouls (or just accidentally foul) as often as most other players. He makes a legit point

My stance on Rondo is pretty clear...

Rondo is a great passer (most likely one of the best in the NBA)
statistically his shots outside 5 feet from the rim are piss poor
His leadership and maturity are clearly lacking. Did you see him kick at Shane Battier the other night?

Rondo just never comes off as that immature to me.....It always comes as a bit of a shock to me when I hear that Rondo is unapproachable, especially after hearing how him and Chalmers are pretty tight.

His maturity is a huge problem. Kicking at Battier, throwing the ball at a ref, bumping into a ref, getting kicked out of film for throwing things.

The list goes on and on
