What's more impressive? That or the 72-10 Bulls?
:D

If they sweep both OKC and Miami, then 16-0 in the playoffs by far.

Spurs for sure. Especially since I don't think it's possible to sweep the Heat.

Yea I think if it comes down to the heat spurs it will go to 7.

spurs sweeping the playoffs because your playing basketball at a higher level in the playoffs compared to the regular season. against the top teams in the league.

Good question - both are equally valued... 72-10 though is ****ing impressive though

Spurs. Shortened training camp. Condensed, injury-filled season. Possible 26 game winning streak. Perfect playoffs. It's hard not to give it to them.

Unbeaten in the playoffs would be more impressive to be frank, and I'm a Bulls fan. I don't see SA not losing a game though.

Spurs. Everyone knew the 1995-1996 Bulls were going to the best team in the league. The Spurs are doing this in spite of no training camp, little preseason time and a jam-packed schedule where they, at some junctures of the season, played several date in a row. This year proves without a doubt the San Antonio Spurs are the best run team in recent league history.

Spurs.

You are talking about sweeping 4 teams in the playoffs including two of the 3 best teams in the league in Miami and OKC.

Spurs and it's not even close.

72-10 in the regular season doesn't hold any weight compared to a potential 16-0 playoff run that started in the regular season.

Spurs would be way more impressive. Not only are they super talented and deep but they actually play like a team is suppose to. They got the best coach and everything is just coming together for them. I don't know if they can sweep the heat but I do think they beat them for sure.

The Spurs winning it all would definately be greater than the Bulls 72-10. I expect that Bulls record to eventually be broken in the next few years.

Unbeaten in the playoffs is more impressive but it won't happen, you can book it.

They should not be compared. But they are impressive feats (72-10 and unbeaten in postseason) I have to say. Whichever does that is truly a great team.

Thats easy, 16-0 playoffs is a much more impressive accomplishment. Having said that. Its not guna happen. If they win the title. They will lose atleast 1 game. In which case, idc! As long as the beat Miami

I am not going to step on this line. I just want to go the next round. Screw records, carry the Gold Ball whether it's in 7 over Miami or 4. It doesn't matter. Duncan gets the thumb, Parker and Gino get the 4. Then no one can say anything about The big three being outside of Texas.

The 20-0 over the last 52 days and 29 of 32 is just about as sick as they come. You can press on Duncan or Parker, but in the end you get daggered by raining threes. It's a mirage of how pristine basketball can be played. The back behind the pass, the Duncan posterization of Ibaka. Just beautiful!

Bulls. Bulls record could have been much better that year (we're talking the 72-10 record season). You will agree when you've been around that time too, watching it all. They have lost a lot of games against weaker teams that season and the last games, Rodman has been suspended. Actually they should and could have lost 6 games at most in that season.

Also them and many other teams almost went unbeaten in the playoffs too, so that's not impressive to me. Plus, sooner or later the Spurs are going to lose a game pretty soon during their run this year.

It was beautiful. Like a symphony. I cried watching this. Even more beautiful than beating the Kings in Game 1 back in 2006.

If they do it, they will go down as the most underappreciated team in modern history.

They have been the best team wire to wire and get no credit because they dont have any cry baby superstars like the other 3 teams left.

I hope the Celtics can pull it off. But with that being a slim possibility, please Spurs, pull this off for true basketball fans world wide.

I dont think they will run the table but if they did it is more impressive then the 72-10 Bulls team. I honestly dont think that Bulls team was the best bulls team of the era.

I think okc will get some help from the refs in the next two games it's the only way will help them

OKC will win either 1 or both of these next 2 home games.

IF it happened, then Spurs.

But although they could (should?) be considered the frontrunner to win the championship now, I don't believe it's possible for them to sweep both OKC and the Heat. I think the Thunder will take game 3 and then the Spurs will finish them off in 6 or 7 games. And if San Antonio wins it all, the Finals will probably follow a similar pattern.

Unbeaten, ha ha. Good one. Not even close. Better team than the Bulls, ha ha, even when they would have won the Champinship unbeaten, no.

Nevertheless I still hope they win it all this season.

the Thunder are outplaying us. They could easily beat us if this keeps up. The difference between having a superstar and no superstar is becoming more evident.

The Spurs need to win the next one or it's over.

AnthonyTyrael

They just neeed to win their home against or steal a road game from OKC at best. Nothing dramatic. It's like - almost - every other series between two title contenders. Spurs aren't as good as they have been made in this forum but they're not as worse as it may look like just because of losing two games. In fans and medias view, it's always like this - do or die but in reality it's not. Too much black and white thinking all over this planet.

With luck we, Dallas could have beaten them in 5 games, so it's doable... even Dallas with that squad and troubles this year. You know?
