Sitting here watching Westbrook not pass to Durant got me thinking.

Who is the biggest ball hog in the NBA?

I think Westbrook has to be number one without seeing the Stats.

Maybe Kobe though lol.

Hey man this aint hate I'm just saying Jordan one of my all time favorite players and he would hog the ball til the last second if thats what it took to win. It isn't necessarily a negative thing in all cases.

You know what, this might sounds weird, because he doesn't get the ball that much, but when I was watching the Indy/Miami series I noticed that almost everytime Barbosa got the ball he was jacking up a shot. I don't know if he's a ball hog, but he is NOT shy about shooting the ball, even if he has to force the issue... lol.

But yeah... Westbrook is a score-first PG, for better or for worse. And obviously Kobe is a huge ball hog.

Ball Hogging for the wrong reason and at the wrong time is so hilarious to me. It just destroys team chemistry and any chances of real success. But as someone else posted and its true most Superstars hog the ball just the way it is. It just seems there is a way to do it that works out best for the team.

Kobe shoots not because he's selfish, but because he honestly believes it gives his team the best chance of winning. It's not for fame , glory Or any Of that. It's the Killer instinct , the black mamba.

Granted it's not always what's best for the the the team, but , eh.

This thread is another heat fan trying to call Kobe a ball hog... Yeah Kobe ball hogs, but he can do things no one in the NBA can do. He is in my mind the greatest closer ever, and he is fifth all time in scoring at age 33... People are jealous hes not on there team.... especially faggets like Underdogz∞!

too lazy to look up stats but if your on a team with a soild player next to you and still put up 20+ shots a game does that make you a ball hog?

i really dont think melo is a ball hog .... he co existed with iverson and even now with amare and jr smith

BUT BY FAR ITS WESTBROOK AND BRANDON JENNINGS ...WESTBROOK WANTS TO BE THE STAR OF OKC SO BAD ITS SO WHAT CRINGE WORTHY AT TIMES.

BRANDON JENNINS JUST TAKES TERRIBLE SHOTS AFTER SHOTS AFTER SHOTS

as far as monta ellis i dont really think so .

from my favorite team, the Timberwolves, JJ Barea and Michael Beasley were the biggest ball hogs on the team. If Beasley ever becomes a consistent 30+ minute per night player, he will widely become regarded as a top 3 ball hog in the league.

outside of my favorite team, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Monta Ellis come to mind.

OK now with a team like the Heat still in the playoffs btw, that you will be watching tonight, and has LBJ, DWade, and Chris Bosh why do I need to be be jealous of Kobe or the Lakers. For the record I like Kobe think he is an amazing player a legend and HOFer.

I'm a fan of all great players especially those that are winners.

An even better question is who is the most useless ball hog.... I can see guys like Kobe and melo ball hoggin but how bout a guy like Zach randolph,... When he was on the Knicks I used to call him the black hole.... Balls never escaped him once he got it.....

And for those that think he should be since he is a double double monster, just see what it's like for him to be on your team.... You might be singing a different tune.
