Who would be the Champions in the 1991-99 Seasons without Jordan? Include his retired years because it would have been different.
My Idea:
1991: Knicks over Lakers 4-0
1992: Trailblazers over Hornets 4-1
1993: Knicks over Suns 4-3
1994: Rockets over Bulls 4-3
1995: Bulls over Rockets 4-2
1996: SuperSonics over Pacers 4-0
1997: Jazz over Pacers 4-0
1998: Jazz over Bulls 4-2
1999: Pacers over Spurs: 4-3

I'm pretty sure in 99, there was no Jordan, and the Spurs won it ;-)
Just sayin' yo.

So in the 93-94 season, when MJ was retired, and the Bulls didn't even get to the finals, they would have gotten to the finals without MJ... that makes sense...

98 was MJs last season as a Bull btw.

I like the basic idea of this thread, except you don't really know anything about the 90s Bulls.

This guy has a better idea, he understands how important MJ was to the Bulls even though he thinks he's disputably the GOAT.

So I don't really understand how the years Jordan was retired would effect the outcome of the championship... 94,95,99 would all be the same

This is a horrible list. The Bulls didn't even make the finals in 1994 or 1995 so how are they there now?

How the **** do the Knicks make the finals in 1991 as the 8th seed as well?
How do the Pacers make the finals in 1997 when they didn't even make the playoffs that year?

Finally someone with some sense. Everytime I see these what ifs for the 98 season everyone automatically puts the Jazz over the Pacers. The Jazz didn't matchup well with the Pacers at all. The Davis boys would have given Malone fits and they had no one to guard Reggie or Rik Smits and the pacers were extremely deep. The only matchup they would have exposed is the point guard Stockton going up against slow *** Mark Jackson. The Pacers were the 2nd best team that year they just ran up against the best team before they could get to the NBA Finals.

WTF is wrong with the OP? I'm drunk and right now I even see the flaws first of all, in 94 the bulls didn't make it past the knicks because of the hugh hollins call which they would of if it wasn't for the worst call in history. second, in 95 the bulls lost with a not up to par Jordan to Orlando in the playoffs. third, the spurs on in 99 when Jordan was retired. and maybe the knicks win one in the 90' but that is it.

If you're going to quote him then quote him correctly. When did he guarantee anything? He said "we believe we can win multiple championships if we take care of business and do it the right way"

Knicks wouldn't have won one IMO.
