The Celtics are not expecting to have Avery Bradley for the rest of the playoffs because of a left shoulder injury, a source close to the shooting guard said Wednesday. Asked for a percentage about Bradley having played his final game this season, the source said in the “high 90s.’’

Imagine how fun the playoffs would have been without all this injuries.....we'll still be watching the Bulls in the play-offs. A Heat/Bulls match-up would have been 100 times more interesting than whatever we will get now.

This has killed the Celtics. If Avery were Healthy, the celtics would be waiting for the heat/pacers series to wrap up

Why wasn't there that many injuries in 1999 when it was a shortened season?

Pietrus isn't a bad option

He is hot or cold. Avery would have constantly played great hard nose defense against whoever he was matched up with. And perimeter defense is something the Celtics desperately need against teams like the heat.

Tough break for Bradley. Especially since he broke through to the starting lineup and was a valued player. But, this opens the door for Ray Allen to come back into the starting lineup. He's got the ankle issue so the Celtics should hope they don't lose Allen too...

Super.

big blow, he would have gave wade all sorts of trouble, now a hobbled ray allen or pietrus will have to guard wade if they advance

The thought of ray Allen having to guard wade right now is scary.

Believe it or not, Ray's defense has actually been decent in these playoffs (although not at Avery's level). It's his offense that has fallen off the face of the planet.
