Well, you can imagine how tough it is to schedule all these games in the Staples center.

However, it's not a conspiracy or anything. It was known before the second round started that any team that went 7 games in round one was going to have to play a back-to-back in round two. Both LA teams went 7 games, and mix that in with the busy schedule for the Staples Center...it was unavoidable.

Hate to say it, but still going with the Spurs 4-0 sweep.

Clippers just aren't good enough to stop the Spurs when push comes to shove unless Paul AND Griffin can go ballistic for an entire 48, and with Griffen's knee and Paul's hip, I just don't see that happening.

IF they were both healthy, I think this series would have gone 4-1 or 4-2 for the Spurs.

They're not, so this is most likley going to Sweep-town.

The Clippers have a bright future and the did procure a franchise changing player in Chris Paul. There is nothing to laugh at. They don't match up well with the Spurs and still have a lot of work to do as far as assembling talent. When you give up a Gordon, Aminu and other assets you of course lose depth. Paul, Bledsoe, Griffin and Jordan are good enough pieces with Butler. That being said they just aren't going to win against the depth that the Spurs have. Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and TP=MVP have been playing together for so long you cannot just disrupt that. As well as the coaching of Popovich who dwards Del Negro in every category.

Agreed. The Clippers are promising, but they're missing 3-4 solid pieces before they'll be serious contenders with the likes of SA and OKC in the west.

For now, the Clippers are a young team with the *potential* for something alot better.

The real question is what they do with Vinnie... he's no Pops.

Yeah I agree CP3/Blake are nice building blocks but they have to surround them with talent to become elite. They need to get a good coach this offseason like Jerry Sloan or Nate Mcmillan.

Far from it, just knows how to defend in the post better than just about anyone with the exception of KG. And it helps that TD has been working with Hibbert :) I'd love to see those to go at it, they've grown pretty close and I hear they text each other quite often

A jump shooting team will no beat the Spurs.Spurs don't have a shoot blocker that's the number one weakness that and rebounding.A good PF and C should give the Spurs a fight but might still lose.

Also I saw the Clipps 7 times and they SUCK garbage team which hurts to say because it makes my team even more garbage.

The Spurs were the #1 defensive rebounding team in the league my friend. Tim Duncan was not healthy last year, what you're seeing now is a healthy Tim Duncan. Stellar defender who can still get it done on both ends. And Diaw is light years ahead of Blair/Bonner and of course Splitter is getting more minutes than last year.

Just as a team with a bigger more skilled front line would give us fits, there's no one who in the West who can go 10-12 deep on any given night.

Solid sweep by the Spurs.

Clippers put up a good fight in the last game, was nice to see.

Spurs definitely were on auto-pilot for half the game, but good to see they didn't make the mistake of letting it slip away.

They're definitely the ones to beat in the West along with OKC.

OKC/Spurs should be one heck of a series.

It will be a 6 game series.

Spurs will make Westbrook beat them. Durant will see double teams every time he touches the ball just like they did with Paul.

If they turn the Thunder into a shooting team and Westbrook taking 20 shots/game it will be Spurs in 6.

The guy can't make in game adjustments on the fly, his rotations have been awful all year, but I'll give him a pass because of the lockout.Spo has the same flaws, but
- he wears the big 3 out in the regular season
- he doesn't spend the regular season developing younger players for the playoffs
- he truly believes small ball can win a championship
- he doesn't like using a real Center
- he has his Center go out all the way to the 3pt line to trap and the other team always takes advantage of it
- he has too much faith and only trusts his 3 man rotation of Mike Miller, Joel, and Battier
- he'll play the same lineup that has lost him the previous game and sticks to it for extended stretches as we're getting our *** kicked
- he plays Battier and Joel simultaneously despite the fact that they don't produce statistically or defend well consistently
-and a bunch of other things.

Mike Brown at least doesn't like small ball, develops his younger players so he can use them in the playoffs, and he went deeper into his rotation.

Pop is such a great coach. He took out the best defender of Duncan for the last 3.5 minutes. Then spaced the Clippers out and cut em to death. Plus, he took out their best rebounder.
